Please mark your calendars for our annual Art Fair on April 28th. The evening begins at 6:30 P.M., with performances by our band, strings and Panther Chorus. Following the music performances, there will be opportunites to take part in art activities and a chance to view all of the beautiful art work that our students have created this year. We look forward to seeing you at this school event. We hope that spring weather brings lots of outdoor time for you and your family. Sincerely Kim Thorup Principal Ways For Parents to Help Their Students Become Better Readers: Give your child quiet time every day to read or write. Limit time kids spend in front of a screen (including TV, computer, and video games) to help ensure that they have time for reading. Read together. Offer to read a book aloud, or ask your child to read to you from a favorite magazine. Make a habit of sitting together while you each read your own books, sharing quiet time together. These students sold enough Major Savers cards to earn a trip to Pizza Street and a limo rider.
