Odessa is located on the Black Sea in south-western Ukraine and
historically serves as one of the major trade centres of the country.
Attracting over 1 million visitors per year, Odessa is a major tourist
destination for the Ukraine and former CIS Region with a steadily
increasing number of European visitors annually.
The population of the city is more than 1,000,000 inhabitants
(January 2007), with 64% of working age.

In 2006 the average net monthly wage in Odessa was 32.5%

The City has four administrative districts named Kyivskiy, Primorskiy,
Malinovskiy, and Suvorovskiy with the primary area of residential
development growth being the north of the Suvorovskiy district and
into Fontanka.

At present, Odessa has no modern regional retail shopping centres
with international anchor tenants.
There is very strong demand from international retailers to enter
Odessa based upon the enormous potential, driven by strong
