Crikvenica
Crikvenica je smještena u Kvarnerskom zaljevu Jadranskog
mora, na 33 km udaljenosti od Rijeke, velikog prometnog
čvorišta u središte Primorsko-goranske županije, također
domom Crikvenice. Cijeli Grad Crikvenica je zapravo
morska rivijera s nizom urbanistički gotovo spojenih
turističkih mjesta: Selcem, Crikvenicom, Dramljem i
Jadranovom. Grad se prostire na oko 28 četvornih
kilometara u priobalnom pojasu, oko 15 km dugom i oko 2
km širokom, a nalazi se između mora i izduženog
primorskog grebena, prosječne visine od oko 300 m
nadmorske visine. Blizina zračne luke na otoku Krku,
putničke i teretne morske luke u Rijeci te dobra cestovna i
željeznička povezanost sa srednjom Europom bile su važne
pretpostavke za rani razvoj turizma, koji na području
današnje Crikveničke rivijere ima tradiciju više od jednog
stoljeća.
Crikvenica is situated in the Kvarner bay of the Adriatic Sea, at
a distance of 33 km from Rijeka, a major road and railway
junction at the centre of the district of Primorje and Gorski
kotar, also home to Crikvenica. The entire town of Crikvenica is
in fact a Riviera with a row of almost connected small tourist
resorts: Selce, Crikvenica, Dramalj and Jadranovo. The town
spreads about 28 square kilometres in the coastal zone, which is
about 15 km long and about 2 km wide, and is situated between
the sea and the elongated littoral reef at an average height of
about 300 m above sea level. The nearby airport on the island
Krk, the passenger and the cargo sea ports in Rijeka, as well as
a good road and railway connection with Central Europe have
contributed to the early development of tourism which has in
the region of the present Riviera of Crikvenica a tradition of
more than one hundred years.

Crikvenica liegt in der Kvarnerbucht des adriatischen
Meeres, 33 km von der Stadt Rijeka entfernt, die ein großer
Verkehrsknotenpunkt und Zentrum der Gespannschaft
Primorje-Gorski kotar ist, zu der auch Crikvenica gehört.
Die ganze Stadt ist praktisch eine Meeresküste, mit einer
Reihe von urbanistisch miteineander verbundenen
Fremdverkehrsorten: Selce, Crikvenica, Dramalj und
Jadranovo.Die Stadt erstreckt sich ungefähr 28 km an der
Küste entlang, die etwa 15 km lang und 2 km breit ist und
liegt genau zwischen dem Meer und dem Küstenkamm,
dessen durchschnittliche Höhe über dem Meer bei etwa 300
m liegt. Die Nähe des Flughafens auf der Insel Krk,des
Passagier- und Frachtseehafens Rijeka sowie die gute
Straßen- und Eisenbahnverbindung mit Mitteleuropa waren
wichtige Voraussetzungen für eine sehr frühe Entwicklung
des Tourismus, der auf dem Gebiet der heutigen Crikvenica
-Riviera eine mehr als hundertjährige Tradition hat.
