Rules & Regulations
Some regulations regarding shares and shareholder membership.
The Act of Incorporation and By-Laws of the Club provide, among other things, that:
1.
The Club shall have first and paramount lien upon all shares of a shareholder for his debts, liabilities and engagements to the
Club.
2.
Such lien is enforceable by forfeiture and sale of said share.
3.
The Board of Governors may refuse to allow transfer of shares upon or in respect of which the Club has a lien, or to a transferee
of who the Board may not approve.
4.
Only members may use the facilities or privileges of the Club. A member in good standing may invite a friend or friends into
the Club under such conditions as the Board of Governors of the Club may from time to time determine.
5.
A Shareholder shall not, merely by becoming a holder of shares, be a member of the Club, but in order to become a member
shall be required to make application and be elected to membership.
6.
Applications for shareholder membership shall contain the name, occupation, and place of residence and be signed by the applicant and shall be endorsed by two (2) Shareholder members of the Club.
7.
Upon the election of any person to membership and upon payment of all monies payable in respect of the application by such
person, then, but not before, such person shall be entitled to the privileges of the Club.
8.
All annual dues shall become due and payable by the last day of March in each year, and unless a member shall resign before the
31st of March in any year, such member shall be liable to pay the annual dues for such year.
9.
Shareholder membership shall endure as long as the member remains the owner of the stock of the Club and remains a member
in good standing (this is subject to Sec. 7.9 as to conduct of members). All other classes of members shall be for the current
year only.
10. If a former member desires again to become a member of the Club such persons may do so only by applying for membership in
the ordinary way.

Golf Instruction
Wade possesses a strong passion for coaching and enjoys sharing his knowledge
with players of all skill levels. During his five years at Shaughnessy, Wade
established himself as one of the top instructors in the lower mainland. As a
member of the UBC coaching staff, he helped to develop and lead the teams to
both NAIA and RCGA National Championships. Wade’s simple and structured
approach to golf instruction has continually helped his students play better and
get more enjoyment from their game. All coaches at Niakwa are CPGA certified and eager to help you improve. The instruction program that they have
created is specifically designed to help you achieve all of your playing goals.
Junior Program
Junior golf and the Niakwa junior program are a top priority of Wade’s. The
junior golf program is first class and continues the Niakwa tradition of excellence. The goal of the program is to introduce young players to an amazing
game and club atmosphere, where they can meet new friends and learn to play
at the highest level. The coaches have designed a graduated program that is fun,
challenging and most of all safe. The game of golf is truly one of the greatest
gifts you can give a child. It will not only help them develop the skills they
need to be successful in life, but they will gain a sport which they can enjoy
with their family and friends for many years to come.
