Dr. Jason Carter completed his orthopedic training at the Level 1 Trauma
Center Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX. His practice covers all spectrums
of orthopedics including both operative and non-operative treatments of
musculoskeletal problems. He has great interest and extensive experience in the
latest techniques of joint replacement, arthroscopic knee, shoulder, and ankle
procedures, and adult/pediatric trauma/fracture care. His practice of minimally
invasive surgeries includes small incision carpal tunnel release, arthroscopic
rotator cuff repairs, percutaneous fracture fixation and minimally invasive
joint replacement surgery. As a former Lufkin High School Quarterback and
University of Mississippi football player, Dr. Carter is committed to keeping
young athletes in the game. He serves as a member of the Lufkin School District
Sports Medicine staff.
