moduleprovidingscalable,mobile,modernBMC4Iforcurrentandfutureair
defensemissions.TheFDCbuildsonflexibility,scalability,interoperability,
andanopenSW/HWarchitecturetoenablefullynettedanddistributed
operationsandeaseinsertionofnewtechnologyandcapabilities.
TheFDCwillmeettherequirementsandensureBMC4Ifunctionalityforany
truemixedandlayeredAirDefensesystemconfigurationinnationaland
multi-nationalscenarios.Morethan100FDCsaredeliveredastheADBMC4I
moduleinthelatestexistingNASAMS,HAWKandBOCprograms.
Ahighdegreeofcommonality,useofcommercial-of-the-shelf(COTS)
andNon-DevelopmentalItemsrepresentalowrisk,costeffectiveapproach
tosatisfycurrentandevolvingairdefenserequirements.TheFDCisproven
withtheAMRAAMandHAWKmissilesandpreparedforinterfacingwiththe
IRIS-Tmissile,theAIM9XSidewinderandtheBlock1Semi-activeEvolved
SeaSparrowMissile(ESSM).OthersystemscanbeintegratedviaGBDL,ISDL
orbyanationalproprietaryDataLink.
