SHOWREEL BREAKDOWN
1 Monsieur Le Temps
Monsieur le temps is a short animated movie I created during
my second year at Supinfocom. I spent a lot of time designing the
characters and the clock in Illustrator and it was the first time I used
After Effect for character animation. One of the challenge of this exercice
was to find a way of changing the colors off the landscape through the
days and nights.
Softwares used :
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effect
- Avid media composer
2 Chapeau Monsieur Casquette
During March 2013 I have had the opportunity to take part in
the second edition of "le marathon de l'animation" in Tourcoing taking
place during "la Fête de l'anim'". Twenty teams of three people have
participated to this exercice. The assignment was to create ten seconds
of animated in 48 hours. The only constraint was to start and finish on
the same image design by Raoul Servais.
I was in charge of the stopmotion animation and the
compositing.
I used Photoshop, Dragon frame and After Effect.
3 Tarte Aux Poireaux
Tarte aux poireaux is a short movie I directed with two good
friends during our first year at Supinfocom. It was not a school
assignment, we simply had some spare time after school so we decided
to do something with it. This has been the opportunity to learn the
basics of After Effect and to play with war movie stereotypes. We really
had a lot of fun making it!
Software used :
- Adobe after effect
- Avid media composer
4 Head Modeling
This was my first organic modeling exercice. I took James
Stewart as a reference, and I really enjoyed bringing this project
as far as I could. I would have loved to get more time to work on it!
The modeling has been done in 3DS Max.
5 3D Still Life
6 Sewing Machine
I created this still life during my second year at Supinfocom
the modeling has been done in 3DS MAX and the rendering with
Mental Ray. This was my first 3D still image assignment. I had
never created shaders before, so the glass materials were a real
challenge for me.
For our first modeling exercice this year, I had to model an old
sewing machine. This was the first time I had to create an object this
complicated. It really took a lot of time to get the modeling and the
shaders right.
Software used :
- 3DSmax
- MentalRay
7 Tribute to Hopper
The goal of this work was to imagine what was out of the frame
in a choosen Edward Hopper’s painting. I chose Office in a small city.
to recreate the city roofs, I used the camera mapping on several boxes.
I really had a great time painting this image in photoshop!
8 Robot toys
For this exercice we had to create robot toys in an attic set.
I have been particularely careful about lignting and image composition.
I wanted to bring the attention to the flying saucer wich is the main
subject of this image.
Software used :
- 3DSmax
- MentalRay
