shade comes with a battery pack.
Standard power source.
Battery life is approximately l'/? years,

Replace batteries when the shade begins

Consumers wili need to order replacement
batteries through a Hunter Douglas dealer
since the PowerRise Skylight product

OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS
Two-Channel Operation
Maximum distance from remote control
to infrared eye: 30'

Distance Between lnfrared Eyes
With adjacent Duette3 with PowerRise3
shades, sufficient distance between infrared
eyes is important to avoid unintentional
activation of one shade by the remote
control signat intended for another shade.
For independent shade operation, the
recommended minimum distance
between infrared eyes is 48".
If necessary, shades may be ordered with
infrared eyes placed at opposite ends of
adjacent headrails.
Channel one is standard and normally is
the only channel needed.
However, when the minimum 48"
separation between infrared eyes is not
possible, selected shades can be set for
channel two operation. Channel two must
be specified when the shade is ordered.
Two-channel operation is recommended
with stacked shades, banks of shades and
shades in bay windows.
