Now located in Chicago’s South

Tapas Tradition
Tapas style dining originated
in the open air taverns of
southern Spain. Originally,
tapas was a slice of cured ham
or sausage on top of a piece
of bread which was placed
over the mouth of a wine or
sherry glass to prevent flies in
their glasses. Spaniards, who
customarily dine late in the
evening, would frequent
several taverns sampling the
tapas of the house. As time
went on they placed olives or
ham on the plate, and as time
evolved so did the tapas plate.

select our Brunch Buffet as your
menu option. This option includes
a large variety of our hot and
cold tapas, breakfast items including

Dessert plattes will be brought to
guest tables. Beverages that are
included are soda, ice-tea, coffee
and one complimentary glass of
champagne or mimosa.
