Firstly, we need to know about your room. Make a
quick sketch plan of the room showing windows,
doors, slopes and anything else you feel might be
important. Then measure the walls, if you don’t want
to remove skirting boards, then measure distances
between these, not between wall to wall. Along with
the ceiling height, note down the sizes on the plan.
If your plans are based around TV/Hi-Fi/Audio equipment then measure these as well.
