to Some of South By Southwest 2016's Most Anticipated

Four Seasons Hotel Austin, in partnership for the fourth consecutive year with KUTX 98.9, presents The
Austin Music Experience, to connect music fans with some of the most anticipated artists attending the 2016
South By Southwest Music Festival, including White Denim, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Sweet Spirit
and Hayes Carll, as well as those poised to break out.
The early-morning broadcasts, which take place annually in the Hotel’s Ballroom, are scheduled for 7:00
to 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 16 through Friday, March 18, 2016 and from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon on
Saturday, March 19, 2016.
Each day’s event is open to the public on a first-come, first served basis. Admission is USD 10 per day –
which includes a breakfast taco, KIND granola bar and unlimited coffee – and all proceeds benefit the Seton
Shivers Cancer Center. Guests may self-park in the Hotel garage at a special rate of USD 5 per car.
In the spirit of offering something to everyone, “Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child,” which airs on KUTX 98.9
from 6:00 am – 7:00 pm Sundays, will present two family friendly sets on the back lawn (weather permitting)
of Four Seasons Hotel Austin between the main-stage acts on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.

About KUTX Live at Four Seasons Hotel Austin
Each spring since 2012, KUTX Live at Four Seasons Hotel Austin has allowed locals to experience some
of the best music of the South By Southwest Music Festival without a wristband. This popular, family friendly
event raises money for the Seton Shivers Cancer Center.
The annual music broadcasts during SXSW have raised nearly USD 175,000 for the Seton Shivers Cancer
Center over the past eight years; since opening in 1986, Four Seasons Hotel Austin has raised a total of
USD 1.2 million for cancer research and treatment.
