Currently, there are joint research projects between professors of VNU-HCM, VNU-HN and professors of JAIST. § To contribute to creating excellent research and education environment in Vietnam, for the carrier continuation of the graduates from JAIST. § To create joint education programs with VNU-Hanoi, VNUHo Chi Minh, and Da Nang University via the 911 program and other resources. 6 types of scholarships to study at JAIST 1. JAIST DRF scholarship (Doctorial Research Fellowship) § Each school: 15 man yen/month (5), 7.5 man yen/month (10) § The matriculation and tuition fees are paid from this salary Japanese Government Scholarship (JAIST recommendation) Vietnamese Government 911 Scholarship (individuals or joint programs). 5. 6. man yen/month by project-based supervisor support, 3-4 scholarships/school/year, entrances April and October. VNU-HCMC up to 10 and VNU-HN up to 5 (October entrance only) (during master 10 man yen per month; during PhD 15 man yen per month, 2-3 scholarships/year/school (up to the total number of students, both April/ October entrances). NOTE: Recipients of scholarships in 1-4 need to pay tuition, screening and entrance fees.
