OVERALL WELLNESS
In December 2011, a review of fatty acid studies in companion animals was
published in a peer reviewed journal.1 Based on this research, Welactin
administration guidelines were updated to be in sync with the latest research.
JOINT SUPPORT
The review also noted the role played by the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids
EPA and DHA with regards to joint health.1 For joint health benefits, EPA
and DHA should be provided at higher levels than are used for skin/coat and
other system support.1 This recommendation equates to a Welactin Liquid
administration at twice label-recommended levels. The administration can be
adjusted as necessary and can be used with any diet, making Welactin Liquid
