History and traditions
of Alsace
Nor thern Alsace
a region to explore
Northern Alsace is a region where nature is protected, both
wild and welcoming, one that is firmly anchored in Alsatian
tradition and offers many and varied pleasures: history, sport,
gastronomic cuisine, well-being, amazing countryside...
If you want to find out more about the traditions and history of
Alsace, relax with your family, expend some energy, this map

On the front, you will find details about the numerous things
there are to do and the many sights not to be missed in
Northern Alsace. On the back, a map shows all the major
tourist sites as well as the routes to take by car, bike and public
transport.
And so you will be able to make up your own itinerary to suite
your tastes and interests.
In the North of Alsace, you
will find a region that has
retained its authenticity,
that offers a wealth of
opportunities to try its
delicious natural local
produce and cuisine, as well
as numerous museums and
sites dedicated to traditional
crafts and festive traditions.

famous for their blue and grey saltglazed stoneware and colourfully
decorated cookware. Over the last
few years, the potters have also
been creating more contemporary
works. Great art for great cooking
and an attractive table. Workshop
