Prior to appearing on and in, the final of ‘The Voice’ Sally was known
to many music fans for her own excellent albums, and for her work with The
Poozies. This added tv exposure brought her to the notice of millions who fell
in love with her wonderfully unique voice – as did Sir Tom Jones who has had
her open major festivals this summer where he’s performed.
Sally appears with Glenn Hughes – keyboards,
and Ian Crabtree - electric guitar. We’re
delighted that Heronshaw, who are locally
based, are opening this evening’s concert.

light-hearted and comic look at “Love” over time, through the eyes of many
famous writers such as Adrian Henri and Roger McGough – two of the famous
Liverpool Poets, Dorothy Parker, Sir John Betjeman, and of course
Shakespeare.
Poems are laced together with light-hearted sketches – Romeo and Juliet in 4
minutes and colourful caustic exchanges – Love Letters from Lover to Lover !

A welcome return to WemsFest for Moldovian virtuoso violinists Oxana Dodon
and Mariana Rotaru with a delightful programme. To hear such beautiful
music performed by internationally renowned musicians such a lovely
location is a treat not to be missed ! Franck’s Sonata was a wedding gift
to Ysaye - the much-lauded Belgian composer. Ysaye was inspired by Bach
sonatas and partitas and dedicated his work to Joseph Szigeti. Wieniawski’s
piece is renowned as a real show-stopper !

delighted so many with his big band at this year’s D-Day Commemorations.
