After the diverse crowd flowed in through the doors of the loungy evening set up of
Café Chartreuse [70 Hurontario St], they were treated to a night of wonderful food,
intriguing music and endless mingling.

Keli-Ann Pye-Beshara, the Café's resident artist, hosted the evening as The Chuck
Baker Band treated the 80-person audience to a night of newly released music from
his much anticipated cd 'a little piece of quiet' [cds available at Keli-Ann's art studio
MWTF 10-3:00]. His funky alternative folk style charmed and entertained the crowd
until the wee hours of the morning. The Band consists of Chuck Baker, Pete Arbour,
John Bourne and Brent Beshara [Besh]. Sacha Law graced us with a set near the end
of the night and the jam continued.
