On behalf of the Houston Automobile Dealers Association, it is my pleasure to welcome automobile enthusiasts to the 31st annual Houston Auto Show.
To celebrate three decades of bringing the automotive world to Houston, our team has been busy expanding the event to be the largest and most interactive automotive
showcase in our history, covering 700,000 sq. ft. of the Reliant Center. We have worked closely with manufacturers from around the globe to bring hundreds of the
newest and most advanced models for people to see, touch, drive and experience all in one convenient location.
This year’s show will include the following:
• The Eagle indoor “Ride & Drive” lounge, in addition to the popular outdoor “Ride & Drives” in the show parking lot. Both
offerings will allow attendees to get behind the wheel of over 70 of the latest models.
• Experience both Camp Jeep’s 4 Wheel Drive Adventure and RAM Brand Truck (RAM Ride & Drive Track) right on the show
floor.
• A high-end luxury vehicle boutique section featuring new models from Porsche, Lotus and Aston Martin.
Lastly, there will be several new models making their big Texas debuts. Houston Auto Show attendees will have the
advantage of being the first in the Lone Star State to view these 2014 vehicles, months before they arrive in local dealerships.

MOTORIST ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
( M A P)
From an overheating car to a flat tire to running out of gas or needing a jump
start, the Motorist Assistance Program (MAP) has kept Houston’s freeways safer
by helping any motorist in need. MAP has helped over 770,000 stranded
motorists. The Houston Automobile Dealers Association (HADA) and the Harris
County Sheriff’s Office started the program in 1986; HADA has donated and placed
103 vans and trucks for this award-winning program. The program is administered
by the Harris County Sheriff’s Department and funded by METRO, Texas Department
of Transportation, Harris County, Verizon Wireless and HADA.

AUTOMOTIVE YOUTH EDUCATION
SYSTEMS PROGRAM
HADA’s sponsorship has once again helped the Automotive Youth Education
Systems (AYES) program grow even more. AYES program is a “school-to-career”
partnership among participating auto manufacturers, dealers and selected high
school/vocational schools that has been active in Houston for 13 years. There are
currently 21 high schools in the Houston area and over 100 HADA dealer members
participating in this award-winning program.
The AYES program serves as a resource to help develop skilled service and collision
repair technicians for new car and truck dealerships. Over 1,000 students have
been placed in internships since the program’s inception. HADA will be working to
increase the dealer base and get more schools on board in 2014.

2015 FORD MUSTANG
The new 2015 Ford Mustang’s dimensions are 1.4 inches lower and 1.5 inches wider to those of the
outgoing car. The new rear suspension was developed specifically for the Mustang, and the front suspension has dual ball joints to enhance steering. Three engines will be offered: The base 3.7-liter V-6
engine, with 300 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque; the modified 5.0-liter V-8; and the new turbocharged,
direct-injected EcoBoost 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine that will develop more than 305 hp at 5,500 rpm
and in excess of 300 lb.-ft. of torque between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm. All engines will be available with
a Getrag 6-speed manual gearbox or a paddle-shiftable 6-speed automatic. The steering wheel is a
smaller diameter and the shifter is closer to the driver.
2014 HONDA ACCORD HYBRID
The 2014 Accord Hybrid utilizes the Earth Dreams Technology powertrain, Honda’s first two-motor
hybrid powertrain, and is designed to deliver 50 miles per gallon. The 2014 Accord Hybrid delivers
driving performance; passenger comfort and ergonomics; top-level safety and driver-assistive systems with Honda’s next-generation ACE body structure, available Lane Departure Warning, Forward
Collision Warning and LaneWatch (standard); and leading-edge connectivity via the new HondaLink
connected car technology. Fuel efficiency is aided by an all-aluminum front subframe, and an aluminum rear bumper beam, which offsets the weight of the rear-mounted battery pack while improving

The all-new 2014 Mazda6 is a game-changer in the midsize vehicle segment. Beneath its broad
hood is a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter gasoline engine that produces 184 hp and 185 lb.-ft. of torque with
13:1 race-car-high compression. The 2014 Mazda6 features a bold new front fascia and sits on a
111-inch long wheelbase, allowing for a roomier interior and ample storage space. The front wheels
have been pushed forward nearly 4 inches, while the shortened rear deck enhances a lower, leaner
and longer stance. The interior offers a driver-oriented cockpit with knobs and controls in a new instrument panel. The Mazda6 rests upon 19-inch, five-double-spoke alloy wheels, which offer added

With the all-new Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) system, the 2014 CX-5 compact SUV is outfitted
with a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter gasoline engine that delivers 155 hp and 150 lb.-ft. of torque. Available only with an automatic transmission, CX-5 Touring and CX-5 Grand Touring models receive the
new SKYACTIV-G 2.5L engine, producing 184 hp and 185 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2014 CX-5’s exterior
design helps achieve high-fuel efficiency. All models are equipped with a rear spoiler, which aids in
aerodynamic performance. Push-button start is standard on all models, and the driver-oriented cabin
has easy-to-read screens and frequently used controls within reach. Rear cargo volume is 34.1 cubic

Completely redesigned for the 2014 model year with a new engine, transmission and all-wheel drive
system, the RDX ranked highest in the Premium Compact Utility Vehicle segment by ALG’s annual
Residual Value Awards. The 2014 RDX features a 273-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine, 6-speed
automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system (available as a $1,400 option). The RDX exterior incorporates an aerodynamically efficient body with Amplitude Reactive Dampers and a motion
adaptive electronic power steering system. Standard features include leather seating surfaces, heated power front seats, power moonroof and a 360-watt audio system. Multi-Angle Rearview Camera

The all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo adds an innovative new concept to the BMW 3 Series lineup. Typical BMW proportions, four doors with frameless windows, coupe-like profile, sloping roofline
and large tailgate define the distinctive exterior character of the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo. An
active rear spoiler – the first on a BMW – adds to the aesthetic appeal and reduces lift at highway
speeds. The luggage compartment also reflects the car’s increased dimensions, its 18.3 cu.-ft. of
trunk space, outstripping that of the BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon by a full cubic foot. The most
prominent design cue remains the kidney grille, which draws the visual focus of the front end further
toward the road and gives the car a lower-slung and sportier feel. Base model estimated mpg: 22/33
The Audi A4 and S4 continue into 2014 with a host of enhancements and new content improving
the best-selling nameplate for the Audi lineup. The 2014 A4 and athletic S4 bring increased power,
state-of-the-art infotainment, and new design elements to the road. The 2014 A4 is powered by
the 2.0 TFSI turbocharged and direct-injected, four cylinder engine with increased horsepower of
220, variable valve timing and valvelift. The A4 offers three different transmissions to suit individual
tastes: a multitronic continuously variable automatic, six-speed manual, and eight-speed Tiptronic
automatic. The 2014 S4 features the supercharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 333
horsepower. Base model estimated mpg: 24/32
Buick’s 2014 LaCrosse offers new interior and exterior design cues, advanced safety technologies
and enhanced in-vehicle connectivity. New front and rear styling, featuring signature wing-shape
LED daytime running lamps and LED wraparound tail lamps, complements its sculpted exterior design. The interior is more contemporary, with new seats, enhanced materials, redesigned central
instrument panel and console – and an all-new, available Ultra Luxury Interior Package. The cabin
also incorporates Buick’s next-generation IntelliLink infotainment system. New radar- and camerabased safety features help surround the new 2014 LaCrosse with protection. QuietTuning engineering process reduces cabin noise. Base model estimated mpg: 18/28

Debuting a little over a decade ago, the Escalade looms large in Cadillac’s invigorated image
and sales. This spring the automaker begins
shipping the newest version of its flagship SUV.
Packing more luxury, efficiency and technology, the fourth-generation 2015 Escalade plays
the role of brand front man admirably, thanks
in part to a massive grille and Cadillac’s now
signature vertical LED head and tail lamps. The
design team showed refreshing restraint and
did a good job cutting back on the fussy bits
and pieces that only detract from any vehicle’s
clean, chiseled look, let alone a full-size SUV.
The 2015 Escalade and the Escalade ESV, an
extended wheelbase version, ramp up interior
refinement with richer-looking materials. Inset
doors, new acoustic seals and Bose noise cancellation help reduce wind noise.
Tech-savvy drivers will appreciate the 12.3-inch

features direct injection, continuously variable
valve timing and active fuel management (AFM).

To nudge up fuel efficiency, Cadillac has moved
to electric power steering, and the Escalade
grille has shutters that close at certain highway
speeds for better aerodynamics. An aluminum
hood and lift gate help keep weight down.
Prices and EPA mileage ratings weren’t available as we went to press, but look for 2015
Escalade MSRPs to start at just under $70,000.
2014 CADILLAC XTS
The XTS features Cadillac’s all-new, power-dense Twin-Turbo V-6 engine. Other new features for
2014 include Automatic Parking Assist and Intellibeam, as well as electric power steering on all frontwheel-drive models. XTS is offered in a well-equipped standard model and three optional collections:
Luxury, Premium and Platinum. The XTS Platinum represents the highest level of technology and
luxury, including a unique front appearance, wheels and interior colors, materials and trim. XTS offers standard Magnetic Ride Control. The XTS is the most spacious Cadillac sedan, tailored to provide
roominess in a more efficiently sized package. The new Cadillac Twin-Turbo 3.6L V-6 delivers 410
horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. Base model estimated mpg: 17/28

2014 Camaro models feature a revised exterior that integrates high-performance aerodynamics for
more efficient cooling and stability at high speeds. The most significant redesign since the introduction of the fifth-generation Camaro as a concept car in 2006. Compared to the previous model, the
design offers a strong visual change front and rear, resulting in a wider, lower, more contemporary
appearance. The functional hood vent on the Camaro SS helps reduce heat and aerodynamic lift. The
new Z/28 features a full aerodynamics package that creates downforce at speed, which helps make
it the most track-capable offering in Camaro’s history. The most-powerful engine offered is the ZL1’s
supercharged 6.2L LSA, which delivers 580 hp. Base model estimated mpg: 17/28
Chevrolet’s first V-8, rear-wheel-drive performance sedan since 1996, the 2014 SS is designed to
deliver performance on the street and on the track. It is powered by the LS3 Chevrolet V-8, delivering
415 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque and is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission
that can be shifted manually using TAPshift paddles mounted on the steering wheel. The Chevrolet
SS accelerates from 0-to-60 mph in about 5.0. Staggered front and rear wheels, which are pushed
out to the corners, enhance the sporting, muscular stance. The aluminum hood features a subtle
“power bulge” hinting at the capability of the engine underneath. The 2014 SS is the first Chevrolet
to offer Automatic Parking Assist. Base model estimated mpg: 14/21
Equinox, a small crossover, rolls into 2014 with spaciousness, efficiency and style. Advanced safety
features, including Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning, are available. Equinox stands
out with a multi-dimensional hood, wraparound rear side glass and wheels-at-the-corners stance.
The standard MultiFlex sliding rear seat travels nearly 8 inches fore and aft, providing up to 39.9
inches of real legroom. Equinox features noise-absorbing elements to make the cabin one of the
quietest in the segment. Both the standard Ecotec 2.4L engine and available 3.6L V-6 in the Equinox
feature fuel-saving direct injection and continuously variable valve timing technology. Base model

Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD strength Chevrolet’s 95-year reputation for building dependable,
hard-working trucks. The previously optional 4.10 rear axle ratio is now standard on gas models,
enabling 4,500-pound greater standard trailering capability of up to 13,000 pounds, for both 2500HD
and 3500HD. It also enhances acceleration and can enable greater efficiency in stop-and-go driving
and at speeds below 50 mph. The 2014 Silverado HD lineup is offered in WT, LT and LTZ models, in
2WD and 4WD, including single- and dual-rear-wheel 3500HD models. A 360-horsepower, 6.0L gas
V-8 is standard on 2500HD and 3500HD models, with the Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel available (rated

The 2014 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in LS, LT and LTZ models. It comes in front-wheel-drive and
all-wheel-drive configurations with seven- and eight-passenger seating capabilities. New for 2014,
Traverse offers Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning features, crash-avoidance technologies that use a camera and sensors to help determine when the driver is getting too close to a

The Chevrolet Volt is not a hybid. It is an electric vehicle with extended range. The four-passenger
Volt is designed to provide the benefits of an electric vehicle without the range limitations associated

in all climates. Powered by GM’s Voltec propulsion system, it consists of a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery

The Mazda3 has long been a hit with the automotive press and consumers convinced that
“affordable” and “practical” don’t need to
equal “boring.”
For 2014, the award-winning compact (Car and
Driver’s 10Best list, AutoGuide.com’s car of the
year, Yahoo Autos’ compact car of the year and
ALG’s residual value award, Insurance Institute
for Highway Safety’s highest Top Safety Pick+
designation) gets sexy new sheet metal similar
to the Mazda6, is lighter, more efficient and can
be had with the cutting-edge safety technologies once found only in European luxury brands.
But first, let’s decode the Mazda3 decision tree
every shopper faces. There are two body styles,
a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback.
Two SKYACTIV-G (gas) engines are offered, a
2.0-liter rated at 155 horsepower and designated by an “i” in the model name, and a 2.5-liter that generates 184hp and is indicated by an
“s.” Finally, there are two six-speed transmissions: a manual or automatic. Four trim levels
– SV, Sport, Touring and Grand Touring – determine which convenience and appearance goodies are baked in.
2014 Mazda3: High marks for style, safety
With gas in the $3-a-gallon range, fuel economy
is a deal maker or breaker. The good news is that
it hardly matters which engine and transmission
are selected – EPA ratings for the Mazda3 are impressive at around 30 mpg city and 40 highway.
The Mazda3 can be equipped with the latest
technology to maximize fuel economy and warn
of collisions – or at least help minimize damage.
that helps generate electricity, shutters on the
grille that close at certain speeds to enhance
aerodynamics, lane departure warning and
Mazda’s Smart City Brake Support (SCBS). SCBS
uses a laser sensor between 2 and 19 mph to
detect objects and, if it calculates that a collision
is likely, brake pedal travel is reduced to enable
quicker stops. If the driver doesn’t respond, it
will automatically engage the brakes.

include automatic high-beam control, blind-spot
monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, forward obstruction warning between 9 and 92 mph, radar cruise control and
adaptive front lighting, which can pivot the lowbeams in the direction a driver steers.
Of course, none of these systems should ever
be relied on to eliminate accidents – that’s still
the driver’s job — but the gadgets have a good
chance of lessening the severity of a too-close
encounter. Kudos to Mazda for moving the buyin price below $30,000.

six-speed SelectShift automatic. Maneuvering parking lots and traveling open roadways becomes
even safer and less stressful with Escape’s sensor-based BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with

The 2014 Ford Edge is a versatile crossover vehicle with expanded availability of all-wheel drive,
a sport mode for the six-speed SelectShift Automatic transmission, plus SYNC with MyFord Touch
voice-activated technology. Standard on the 2014 Edge is the 3.5-liter V6, which produces 285 hp.
The Edge Sport, with a 3.7-liter V6, increases performance to 305 hp. Edge is available in both frontwheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Exclusive to Edge with EcoBoost are aerodynamic
enhancements and other technologies to help save fuel, including side door rocker moldings and
active grille shutters. The 2014 Edge is available in four series: SE, SEL, Limited and Sport. Base

From the powerful yet fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine to the mighty 6.2-liter V-8, the F-150 offers
an engine to meet the needs of every customer. Each engine across the 2014 Ford F-150 lineup
is mated to an electronic six-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode, with tow packages. Ford F-150 adds breadth to its expansive lineup with a Limited luxury model and availability
of the groundbreaking EcoBoost engine, a powerful 6.2-liter V-8; electronic-locking rear axle and
Hill Descent Control. Now available for 2014 are power-telescoping and power-folding trailer-tow
sideview mirror; FX Appearance Package with new grille; and 17-inch machined aluminum wheels
with painted accents now standard on XLT and STX. Base model estimated mpg: 17/23
The 2014 C-MAX Hybrid features Ford’s innovative hands-free liftgate that allows quick and easy
access to the cargo area without ever needing to fumble for keys. A gentle kicking motion under the
rear bumper opens the liftgate when used in combination with a key fob the user keeps in his or her
pocket or purse that tells the car it’s OK to engage. The same motion can be used to close the liftgate.
The C-MAX Hybrid provides customers with interior versatility, along with the urban maneuverability
of a smaller vehicle. The C-MAX line features a high roof design and a higher command-style seat
position instead of a cockpit-type. It also features five-passenger seating that includes a split, foldflat second-row seat. Base model estimated mpg: 47/47

when towing. Second-row heated seats, auto headlamps and adaptive cruise control are among
the convenience features added or now more widely available. Explorer delivers a flexible interior
package with clever storage solutions and generous head and shoulder room, three rows of flexible
seating, and room for all the gear. The 2014 Ford Explorer’s standard engine is a 3.5-liter V6 delivering 290 hp and 255 lb.-ft. of torque. Base model estimated mpg: 17/25
The 2014 Focus four-door sedan and hatchback models share Ford’s acclaimed kinetic styling, which
emphasizes the car’s athletic stance. The 2014 Focus interior design features a modern, cockpitstyle interior with stylish center console. Focus features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated with
the latest six-speed Ford PowerShift automatic transmission. Focus offers SYNC with MyFord Touch,
which replaces many of the traditional buttons, knobs and gauges with clear, colorful LCD screens

In 2014, GMC Acadia focuses on safety with the addition of Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning crash-avoidance systems that use a camera and sensors to help detect when the driver

The 2014 Yukon family of full-size SUVs offers room for up to nine passengers. All Yukon and Yukon
Denali models are offered in 2WD and 4WD configurations (2WD and AWD with Denali). A third-row
seat is standard on all Yukon models. Yukon features a 116-inch wheelbase and overall length of 202
inches, which enables up to 108.9 cubic feet of storage space (with the second-row seat folded and
third-row seat removed). Yukon XL models have exterior dimensions similar to the regular models,
but are about 14 inches longer in wheelbase and 20 inches longer overall, offering 137.4 cubic feet

24-valve V6 and compact laminated lithium-ion battery design with one-motor/two-clutch motor

drives Jeep’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine (25 mpg highway/more than 600-miles driving range),
and its 5.7-liter V-8 (up to 21 mpg highway). Jeep offers three 4x4 systems, including its Quadra-Lift
air suspension and Selec-Terrain traction management systems. Towing capacity is 7,400 pounds
with a crawl ratio of 44.1:1. Jeep Grand Cherokee includes more safety and security features, and

Mercedes-Benz expands its lineup with the all-new 2014 CLA-Class. The new four-door coupe is a
style rebel that takes its design cues from the CLS. This brand new vehicle features world-leading
aerodynamics and avant-garde coupe design. The four-door 2014 CLA250 coupe comes with a powerful turbocharged engine generating 208 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, as well as sport suspension

Lincoln MKX has unibody, energy-absorbing construction. MKX was the launch vehicle for SYNC with
MyLincoln Touch technology that controls through voice, touch or both, and has two 4.2-inch color

advanced 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, with 152 hp and 171 lb.-ft. torque, is available on the
Frontier King S-I4 and SV-I4 4x2 models. Frontier offers a 5-speed automatic, a 6-speed manual or

The entry-level 2014 Nissan Versa Sedan provides a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with twin CVTC,
available air conditioning, 6-way driver’s seat, plus AM/FM/CD/Aux-in audio system. Enhancements

2014 model year is a new SL Tech Package, featuring Bose 13-speaker audio system, navigation
system, voice recognition and 8-inch color touch-screen monitor. The Pathfinder Hybrid, powered
by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor paired to a lithium-ion battery, offers the same
seating capacity and cargo space of non-hybrid models. The system is rated at 250 net hp and 243
lb.-ft. of torque. Pathfinder offers selectable 2WD, Auto or 4WD Lock modes for available intuitive
All-Mode 4x4-i system. The 5,000-pound towing capacity allows for towing of boats, jet skis, trailers

The 2014 Nissan Altima leads the expansion of the NissanConnect Apps, a global platform that

either 2WD or Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) all-wheel drive system, the 2014 Outlander is the blend of styling, performance, ecology and comfort. A new driver-activated ECO-mode

For the 40th anniversary of the 911 Turbo, Porsche is now presenting the new generation 911 Turbo
and Turbo S – the technological and dynamic performance peak of the 911 series. Features include

and up to 560 horsepower from a flat six-cylinder engine with twin-turbochargers. 2014 models
have an entirely new chassis and lightweight design with a 3.9-inch longer wheelbase and larger

Available in coupe and cabriolet body styles, the 2014 smart fortwo electric drive has the smallest
footprint of any car on U.S. roads. The 2014 smart fortwo electric drive is powered by a magnetoelectric motor that’s installed between the rear wheels in place of the conventional engine. Because
electric motors create instant high torque, the car uses a single gear instead of a multiple-gear transmission. As a result, there’s no need for shifting. The all-new smart electric drive achieves 122 city
MPGe, or miles per gallon gasoline equivalent. Its small size makes for nimble movement and easy
parking. It has endured extensive crash testing and meets all U.S. motor vehicle safety standards.

For 2014, the Beetle range receives a number of enhancements, trim line changes, and a new special
edition model, the GSR. The base Beetle’s 2.5-liter engine will be phased out later in the 2014 model
year and replaced by a new turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. It produces 170 horsepower
and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. Electro-mechanical power steering replaces the 2.5’s hydraulic setup. All
Beetle models now have a multilink rear suspension. The 2014 GSR is a modern re-interpretation
of the 1970s GSR (Yellow Black Racer). The Beetle Turbo lineup is renamed as the R-Line for 2014,

The all-new 2014 Forester, the fourth generation of Subaru’s popular all-wheel drive crossover SUV,
debuts a bolder exterior and roomier interior, along with improved performance and higher fuel
economy. The five-passenger 2014 Subaru Forester is a total redesign of the crossover SUV that’s
built a strong reputation for safety, performance, dependability and versatility. A new 250-horsepower 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged BOXER engine leads the line, which also includes models
powered by a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter naturally aspirated BOXER engine. The 2014 Forester is built
on a new platform featuring a 0.9-inch longer wheelbase (now 103.9 inches). Base model estimated

For 2014, Volvo makes its S80 sedan even more appealing with a new look, enhanced standard
features, new options, advanced technologies plus improved performance potential for S80 T6 AWD
models. Changes to the S80 begin with a new front fascia incorporating a new grille design. Below
the grille, a redesigned lower front intake stretches the visual width of the car to create a wider
horizontal stance. New LED daytime running lights are positioned at the outer edges of the intake.
The S80 3.2’s six-cylinder engine delivers 240 hp with ULEV II emissions rating or 230 hp with PZEV
(Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle) rating. The T6 AWD’s 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine develops 300 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. Base model estimated mpg: 19/28

The 2014 Toyota Camry features enhanced powertrain choices for the 7th-generation model that
provide better fuel economy and more responsive performance. The Camry employs a wider, lower
stance and an “architectural statement” through crisp lines. Models with the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder
engine offer 178 hp; the 3.5-liter V6, available in SE and XLE grades, delivers 268 hp. For 2014,
Toyota’s Entune includes AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback, touch-screen display, aux jack,
USB 2.0 port with increased charging capability and iPod connectivity and control, and hands-free
phone capability. A rigid body structure and aerodynamics help the 5-passenger sedan with crisper
steering response, while enhancing ride comfort. Base model estimated mpg: 25/35
The all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla makes a visual impact with tauter, athletic proportions that ride on a
longer wheelbase. Wheels are pushed to the corners and the tapered front and rear give the sedan a
compact form. The interior has piano-black gloss trim with metallic ornamentation. Corolla offers two
1.8-liter, all-aluminum, 4-cylinder engines. The base 1.8-liter, featuring 132 hp, is available on the
L, LE and S trims. The new LE Eco has a 1.8-liter, 140 hp engine. Corolla rolls on a range of wheels,
with the fuel-economy Corolla LE Eco wearing 15-inch wheels with low-rolling resistance 195/65R15 rubber. At the other end of the spectrum is the sporty Corolla S that has available 17-inch alloy

The redesigned 2014 Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck offers the hard-working SR, volume-leading SR5, the well-appointed Limited, and the Platinum and the all-new 1794 Edition grades. Cab
styles include 2-door Regular, 4-door Double and 4-door CrewMax, available in 4x2 and 4x4. Three
offered powertrains are a 4.0-liter V6 (270 hp and 278 lb.-ft. of torque), standard on Regular and
Double cab models, paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission, and the 4.6-liter i-Force V8 (310
hp and 327 lb.-ft. of torque). The workhorse engine is the 5.7-liter, DOHC i-Force V8 (381 hp and 401
lb.-ft. of torque). Both V8s are mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All grades are equipped
with a standard backup camera. Base model estimated mpg: 16/20
The Toyota Prius, with a 51/48 mpg fuel economy rating, is one of the most fuel-efficient gaspowered passenger cars available. The 2014 Liftback comes in Prius 2, 3, 4 and 5, with 3 and 4
optioning a sliding glass moonroof with solar panels. The available solar-panel system allows remote
operation to cool the car’s interior. A 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle, 4-cylinder (98 hp) engine and electric
motor generate a combined 134 net hp. The 2014 Prius offers Normal, POWER, ECO and EV driving
modes. EV allows battery power alone at low speeds for about a mile. POWER has a sportier feel; ECO
achieves the best mileage. A multi-information display panel provides feedback to help the driver
