A completely normal toilet is installed in front of the glass. Behind it, a small revolution is taking place
in terms of design, functionality and comfort. TECElux offers many new options for the toilet – and
because no name previously existed for so many solutions, we have called it the "toilet terminal". The
term guarantees that all possibilities are open to you with TECElux. On the following pages, we explain
what these possibilities are. There's just one thing to mention in advance: The future of the toilet, no
less, is behind the multiple award winning design.
All on the inside

With TECElux, the useful functions are concealed in the wall. The safety-glass facing
hangs in front of the wall and covers the inspection opening. The cistern, connections for
water and electricity and the seat height adjustment are hidden behind it. If required, the
ceramic odour filter is also located here.

The requirements a toilet has to meet differ significantly for different age groups. The modular TECElux
toilet terminal meets all requirements: In the highest configuration level, TECElux is a true luxury toilet –
and offers a wealth of functions that are not apparent at first glance. The ceramic odour filter is
installed – an important hygiene function that ensures clean air. The electronic flush with approach
sensor is also important for perfect hygiene. It furthermore aids orientation as a night light. The seat
height can be adjusted in an eight-centimetre range. In this luxury bathroom, TECElux is combined
with a shower toilet with concealed connections – power and water lines are laid behind the glass and
in the ceramic.

TECElux adapts to meet your needs – even if these change over time. The sophisticated module technology
enables you to make renovations quickly. The basic version with manual cistern can be upgraded with
electronic flush actuation. Naturally, the ceramic odour filter can also be retrofitted. The technology is
safely and invisibly integrated in the intelligent pre-wall solution. And if your requirements change, TECElux
will almost always offer ways of modernising and making technical adjustments.
FLUSHING WITH
THE SENSOR.
TECElux offers two actuation versions: Classic mechanical flush
buttons or electronic flush actuation with an approach sensor. The
sensor detects when a person is approaching the toilet, and only
illuminates the flush buttons then. The electronic flush can be
actuated by pressing a button or through non-contact sensors. Pure
hygiene and ease of cleaning: The sensor version is integrated in a
seamless glass facing.

Odour filter
for clean air.
The TECElux ceramic odour filter removes odours where they occur:
directly in the toilet. The impure air is extracted, the odourants are
removed by a ceramic filter, and the air is fed back into the room.
There are no draughts, and no loss of heat in winter, because cold
outside air is not used. The filter has a long life and only has to be
replaced every five years or so.

OPEN TO MANY
OPTIONS.
The toilet terminal is an open interface to functions and design. It can
be combined with practically all ceramic toilets – including rimless
toilets and shower toilets. What's special about this is that connections
for water and electricity as well as air channels for the ceramic air
filter are already set up. If a shower toilet is installed, all cables and
water lines can be laid invisibly.

SEAT HEIGHT AS
REQUIRED.
Usually, the toilet is installed at a standard height – once mounted,
it has to serve everyone, big and small, old and young. TECElux
enables the seat height to be preconfigured – the glass facing is
simply adjusted with the toilet ceramics. The height can be adjusted
within an eight-centimetre range and can be subsequently changed.
Small difference – big impact:
Eight centimetres more or less doesn't sound like much, but it can make
all the difference for sitting down and getting up again comfortably.

Three components make up the TECElux system: The
module (A) is covered by the upper and lower glass
facing (B+C). The push plate offers different means
of actuation, the mounting plate has hidden connection options for practically every toilet ceramic available on the market – from the standard solution to a
rimless toilet or shower toilet.

Just add
hygiene.
Cleaning tabs ensure a hygienic and fresh-smelling toilet. They also
avoid limescale and deposits on the toilet ceramics. TECElux provides
the option of an insert for cleaning tabs – and thus an easy way of
optimising toilet hygiene without having to use a hanging bowl cleaner
or to keep a bottle of detergent at the ready.

Functions as
required.
The TECElux electronic version is easy to program and can thus be
adapted to individual needs. As a result, TECElux can be adapted to
the users and the room. The listed functions are just a selection of
the possible options.
A sensor behind the glass facing activates the
display illumination. The recognition range
can be reduced.
The brightness of the display can be
individually set. The display can also be used
to aid orientation in the dark.
The intensity of the odour filter can be set –
this affects the volume of the fan and its
suction capacity.
Forgot to flush? Two minutes after a person
departs, a subsequent safety flush is carried
out automatically.
