Grid-Lok® is a modular, fully automatic PCB Pin support system for stencil printers, pick and

The GSX3914P-X has been optimised specifically for Universal placement machine
application. The system consists of a replacement tooling (See Note) (table) plate for the
machine, which facilitates the instalation your chosen number of 355.6mm (14“) modules. A
special 2 piece module is included for the front part of the machine which is partially obscured
due to machine design.The system consists of five components, modules (in kits and available
seperately), tooling plate controller, manifold/regulator and the operator interface.

HD Grid-Lok® GHD8612-X, GHD8618-X DEK Technical Specification
Grid-Lok® is the universal, modular, fully automatic PCB Pin support system for stencil
printers, pick and place machines or AOI applications.
HD Grid-Lok® has been optimised specifically for Printing Machine applications. Increased pin
density reduces the load on underside components during printing, improves print quality and
comforms to any given board profile.
The system consists of four components, modules (in kits and available seperately), controller,
manifold/regulator and the operator interface.
Function
Grid-Lok provides full support to the underside of both populated and unpopulated boards. The
systems has two modes of operation
•‘Stealth’ (Auto) – Dynamically set to each board for every cycle
•Manual – one time set-up using a ‘golden board’

Machine Integration
The Grid-Lok controller integrates with the DEK machines using the pneumatic input (board
clamps) A sensor is required only when using Pro-Flow and 86mm high modules. Or an
electrical output from the machine provided by DEK as an option.
The modules are located on the table using magnetic strips on the modules
The 86mm high modules are designed to support the stencil with the use of Pro-Flow.

the pneumatic input, it is recommended that all machines use the sensor.
LPSUPP87 (EBS230) will need to be ordered seperately if the machine does not already
have board lifters
The modules are located on the table using magnetic strips on the modules.
Note: E4 will require 305mm/12” modules at the front and back rails to achieve full table
coverage.
