Ecology and Economy in Harmony
“Ecology and Economy in Harmony” for weaving factory
TSUDAKOMA Corp. will participate in one of the biggest international exhibitions of textile machinery: the
“ITMA ASIA + CITME 2014” to be held in Shanghai, China from June 16 through 20, 2014.
Tsudakoma’s main theme is “Smart Ecology, Ecology and Economy in Harmony.”
They present the products which will achieve energy saving, manpower saving, and labor saving in addition to
the existing values such as high productivity and high quality. To achieve value-addition, high quality, and high
productivity while paying careful attention to the working conditions within the factory and environment. That is
the “Ecology and Economy in Harmony for Smart Ecology” that Tsudakoma pursues.
At ITMA ASIA Tsudakoma will make the Asian debut of their state-of-the-art jet loom “ZAX9200 MASTER.”
The “ZAX9200” is a highly environmental and cutting-edge model. It has achieved higher speed operation,
5% or more reduction in electrical consumption (compared with the ZAX9100), and extensive reduction in air
consumption. The new water jet loom “ZW8100 Professional” increases operation speed by 10% while reducing
electric power consumption by 5% and on-loom vibration by half compared with existing models.
Their Chinese groups will also exhibit jet looms. Their affiliated company, TSUDAKOMA (CHANGSHU) CO.,
LTD. will exhibit a new water jet loom “ZW408G” for the first time and their joint company, Jingwei Tsudakoma
Textile Machinery (Xianyang) Co., Ltd. will exhibit new air jet loom “ZAX-GS.” Both jet looms employ genuine
parts made by Tsudakoma Corp. in Japan and the efficient Chinese production system for the main components.
They shape Tsudakoma's message that they hope a wide range of customers will use Tsudakoma products.
T-Tech Japan Corp. will exhibit the sizing machine that supports stable and more productive operations of the jet
looms.
Based on the concept of “Smart Ecology: Ecology and Economy in Harmony,” the Tsudakoma group continues to
pursue and offer the manufacturing ideal: Best Products in the Best Environment.
2. Exhibits
[ZAX9200 MASTER AIR JET LOOM]

The “ZAX9200 MASTER” is the latest model of air jet loom which started its production in autumn of 2013.
Tsudakoma has enhanced the high-speed ability of the existing model, “ZAX9100” while achieving 5% or more
reduction in electrical consumption (compared with the ZAX9100) and extensive reduction in air consumption.
Furthermore, upgraded with Tsudakoma's newest weaving know-how, the AI “Weave Navigation® System”
continues to advance and Tsudakoma’s design concept is concerned with the details of the loom body. They offer
the most user-friendly jet looms for both factory workers and administrators.
Ultra-high speed, manpower saving, and labor saving performances for dyed-yarn shirting and stable operation
for wide fabric weaving at high speed for interior cloth will be shown at ITMA ASIA 2014. Tsudakoma will
demonstrate high-class towel weaving with new model “ZAX9200 MASTER-Terry.”

The “ZAX9200” upgrades the ultrahigh speed ability of the “ZAX9100”
while saving resources, energy, and
manpower. The “ZAX9200” is an
advanced air jet loom that is worthy
of the name “MASTER.” It has
achieved higher speed operation,
5% or more reduction in electrical
consumption (compared with the
ZAX9100), and extensive reduction
in air consumption. With the “i-Weave,” provided as standard for the “ZAX9200,” ultra-high speed performance
is accompanied with energy saving by optimizing the basic weft insertion control for air jet looms. With optional
devices such as the “DSS Direct Sub-nozzle System,” the sub-nozzle jetting time is reduced compared to the
standard twin nozzle valve, making a significant contribution to air consumption reduction. The new Navi-board
with extensive information in multi-windows is provided with the “Weave Navigation® System” and achieves
ultimate weaving support.

The “ZAX9200” achieves stable
high-speed operation. It can weave
340cm-wide fabric with its robust
frame structure and clear shedding
with more time allowance for weft
insertion while the beating stroke is
shortened.
The “ZAX9200” is provided with
the adjustable guide bar whose length can be adjusted easily. That is, it is not necessary to cut it according to the
reeding width. Thus, the time required for style change is greatly reduced. The adjustable guide bar is in the reed
air guide and supports the cloth fell leading to stable operation and high quality.
With its various devices, such as the 6-color weft selection, the “EPL Electronic Planetary Leno motion,” the “EIS
Electronic Independent Selvage motion,” and the electric cutter, the “ZAX9200” can easily weave value-added
fabrics and the fabrics that were formerly limited to rapier looms while keeping quality high.

The “ZAX9200-Terry” is an exclusive
terry-weaving loom developed by
integrating Tsudakoma’s vast terryweaving knowledge into the excellent
ultra-high speed performance of the
“ZAX9200.” Tsudakoma also has the
largest market share in the air jet loom
for terry.
Tsudakoma developed the “Versa-Terry
System” to take advantage of their terry
weaving knowledge.
It is a compilation of various systems special for terry weaving upgraded with the technology that meets
diversifying designed towels. The “ZAX9200-Terry” can weave various designed towels, such as multi-pick
towels. All with a soft touch and feel.

The “PSC Programmable Speed Control” reduces the speed during difficult border sections improving loom
productivity and efficiency. With the TMC Terry Motion Control, the “ZAX9200-Terry” weaves high-quality &
heavy fabric and expands its flexibility. It also achieves extensive reduction in air consumption using the i-Weave
and the DSS Direct Sub-nozzle System.

The “ZW8100” is the state-of-the-art water jet loom which has ultra-high speed performance upgraded its
operation speed by 10% while reducing electric power consumption by 5% and on-loom vibration by half
compared with existing models.
The “ZW8100” is provided with the AI “Weave Navigation® System” that is highly regarded among air jet loom
users for better operability. The “ZW8100” widens the applicable materials and can weave difficult fabrics with
high quality.
Tsudakoma will demonstrate high speed weaving for quality outerwear and value-added fabric weaving using the
loom provided with electronic Jacquard machine.

Tsudakoma pursues ultra-high speed operation and
designed the “ZW8100” optimally from its frame
structure, beating and shedding, and increased its weft
insertion performance with a newly-developed nozzle.
This increases the ZW8100's operation speed by 10%
while reducing electric power consumption by 5%
and on-loom vibration by half compared with existing
models.
By shortening the beating stroke and making the
position of the 1st heald frame closer to the cloth fell
compared with the existing series, high speed operation
is attained keeping quality fabric. For 3-color or more weft selections, a 6-link beating motion is used.
The “ZW8100” is provided with the “Weave Navigation® System” that is highly regarded among air jet loom
users for better operability. Almost all electric adjustments can be done via the Navi-board.
The “ZW8100” supports a wider range of fabrics: from fine to thick yarns, from narrow to wide widths, and
unbalanced construction such as double weave. To achieve this versatility, the “ZW8100” uses a combination of
an electronic dobby machine, the nozzles closely located near each other, a twin pump, and 4-color weft selection.
The “PSC Programmable Speed Control” controls the rpm when weaving elaborate structures in order to eliminate
wasting time, thus productivity greatly increases.

An expanded application range of water jet looms in
combination with the independent driven electronic
Jacquard makes it possible to weave high-quality
value-added fabrics at high speed while saving energy.
The “ZW8100” combines speed with quality.
The “PSS-W Programmable Start” prevents stop
marks. The “APF-W Automatic Pick Finder” as
standard equipment enables automatic pick finding
after recovering from a loom stoppage and re-start. Every possible user-friendliness is pursued.

The “ZW408G Water Jet Loom” is a Chinese-created Tsudakoma brand whose place of production was changed
from Japan to China. Tsudakoma provides proven water jet looms of their brand to a wide range of customers.
High basic performance by weaving high-density nylon taffeta and women’s wear (value-added fabric) will be
exhibited at ITMA ASIA 2014.
The “ZW408G” inherits the basic abilities of the “ZW408” that is highly regarded as a global standard for its
stable operation, energy saving, high quality, and wide range of application. It is possible to weave extensive
fabrics from dress material to middle-thick value-added fabrics at the lowest running costs and with high quality.
Vibration during high-speed operation is reduced with the rigid box frames on both sides of the loom. Due to
reduced vibration, more stable weft insertion and beating are attained, keeping fabric quality high. The key driving
section is included in an oil bath, achieving more stable high speed operation.
New nozzles with enhanced convergence of jet water flow allow weft insertion with small shedding. Soft picking
which is gentle for yarns is possible with a small amount of jetted water even in the ultra-high speed operation.
Not only is fabric quality enhanced, but water consumption is also reduced.

Tsudakoma’s joint company in China for manufacturing air jet looms will also participate in the show.
Based on the “ZAX Air Jet Loom” manufactured by Tsudakoma Corp. in Japan, the “ZAX-GS” is a Chinesecreated Tsudakoma brand made in China. High speed weaving of shirting, manpower & labor saving in women’s
wear weaving, and stable high-speed operation for wide fabric weaving of sheeting will be demonstrated at ITMA
ASIA 2014.
The “ZAX-GS” achieves quality fabric and weaving cost reduction in addition to its mission of high productivity.
With the rigid frame structure mainly composed of the robust box frames on both sides of the loom and the
transverse beam, heavy fabric is attained at ultra-high speed while reducing floor vibration. Durability is extremely
high. The rocking shaft with intermediate supporter is provided as standard. Beating is smooth and dynamic. Due
to stable beating at high speed, quality weaving of high density fabric is possible.
It also supports multi-colors, wide, and value-added fabrics and can weave the fabrics that were formerly limited
to rapier looms while keeping quality high.

as the sizing machines that Tsudakoma Corp. manufactures, which are the world’s most advanced, inheriting
the state-of-the-art Japanese technology of preparatory machines.
In addition to the basic abilities such as sizing quality, it is easily possible to offer high level operation,
operation control, and quality control with the “Sizing Navigation System.”
They will exhibit the TTS20S Spun Sizing Machine in TTJ’s stand. The TTS20S supports high speed
operation of the air jet looms for weaving quality fabric. The detailed controls achieve superior energysaving.
T-Tech Japan also attains quality warp yarn sizing with the stable tension control from low to high. They
have the preparatory machines that maximize a water jet's performance such as the filament sizing machine
“TSE10F.” T-Tech Japan is ready for small lot production and the fast-changing market demands in preparatory
machines. They also help improve the quality and operations of the weaving process.
