The evangelist Mark describes a moment of jealousy of the Lord's disciples and cannot understand how
someone "is casting out demons in his name" episode in which Jesus forcefully corrects a wrong attitude of the Twelve. It is illogical to put obstacles in His way. If an action is good and seeks to serve and
help, this action becomes an extension of the love and mercy of God. Helping, giving strength and comfort, forgiving, and praying for whoever is in need, doing good deed in the name of Jesus is the experience of an authentic Disciple of the Lord. Have we heard today Jesus’ warning?
The disciples brought a complaint to the Lord. They wanted Jesus to stop those people that recognized
Him as their Savior and invoked His name to make miracles happen.
It’s clear that the disciples don’t have the power to heal or to liberate demons. It’s Jesus in person who
acts through them when they ask Him with a sincere heart.
Jesus is always there for you and does not wait for moments of distress or crisis. Jesus Christ is the
ONLY ONE that has the power to do everything: He is God! Sometimes we become confused thinking
that we are extraordinary people when we share the love and power of the Lord feeling that it is on our
own merit and not by the power of Jesus Christ. Human pride over charity.
The one who develops a loving and fraternal activity is already, somehow linked to Jesus. Jesus only
looks for the good in human beings and considers those who operate in His Name an ally and a friend:
"the one that is not against us is in our favor." The one that has found Jesus is directed to serve others,
in His Holy Name one declares liberation, and sanctions that as a sign that God's Kingdom is already in
the middle of us. Jesus invites us to work together in His name to build a better world in which we are
brothers and sisters and to live in love and peace as a framework in our lives.

SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL:
On September 27th, the church celebrates the feast of St. Vincent de Paul. St. Vincent said that “Love is inventive to infinity.”
The members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are on the
front line in laboring for the poor, they are among the first to
know their real needs.
This month, through your gifts the Society of St. Vincent de
Paul was able to assist the needy providing food, clothing
and support. God Bless You!
Reminder: Food can be placed in the boxes in the narthex.
Clothing can be dropped off at our location behind St. Ann’s
which is open to help the needy on Monday, Wednesday and

Christmas Angel Tree 2015 Registration for this year’s Angel
Tree will take place during the month of October at St. Vincent de
Paul (behind St. Ann’s) on Mon., Wed., and Fri., 12:00 -2:30 p.m.
Any parishioners who will need help purchasing Christmas gifts for
their children are encouraged to sign up during the first two weeks
of October as the number of children we can help is limited, and we
do not want to turn any parishioner away.

One of the greatest failures of our time is certainly the
lack of openness, the refusal to listen to one another, to
understand and to work together to solve problems. It is
as if each one of us possessed the monopolis of the Holy
Spirit. We forget that we are all children of only one Father. This Father loves all His children wherever they are.
It is exactly what the word of God for this Sunday teaches
us.
John said to Him, "Teacher, we saw someone casting out
demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us." Jesus replied, "Do not prevent him…..whoever is not against us is for us.”
The disciple of Jesus chooses what is good. And what is
good does not depend on who does it. What is good can
come from any one. The Spirit of God is at work everywhere in the world. Then we are to be open and acknowledge and welcome the good only because it is the good.
Whoever is doing the good should be our collaborator,
our friend, our brother.

El que no está contra nosotros está a nuestro favor.
El evangelista Marcos nos describe un momento de celos de los discípulos del Señor que no pueden entender como alguien “está expulsando demonios en SU nombre” episodio en el que Jesús corrige de manera contundente una actitud equivocada de los Doce. No es lógico impedir hacer el bien
en SU nombre. Si una acción es buena y busca servir y ayudar, esta acción se convierte en una extensión del amor y la misericordia de Dios. Ayudar,
dar fortaleza, consolar, perdonar, orar por quien está en necesidad, hacer una obra buena en el Nombre de Jesus es la vivencia de un Cristianismo
autentico.
¿No habremos de escuchar también hoy la advertencia de Jesús?
Los discípulos presentan al Señor una queja para que Jesús impida el poder de su fuerza salvadora en aquellos servidores que le han reconocido como
su Salvador y que en su nombre hacen milagros y prodigios.
La realidad es que Jesús actúa a través de aquellos que le invocan con sincero corazón; Él no se hace esperar al llamado hecho con fe en los momentos
de angustia, error, equivocación, queda demostrado que no son los discípulos, ni los seguidores de Jesus quienes tienen el poder. Jesucristo es el UNICO que tiene el poder para hacerlo todo: Él es Dios! A veces podemos confundirnos y creer que somos extraordinarios y que la acción que Jesús hace
a través de nuestra oración la hemos obtenido por mérito propio. Orgullo humano por encima de la caridad.
Quien desarrolla una actividad amorosa y fraterna está ya, de alguna manera, vinculado a Jesús. El, Jesus, que sólo busca el bien del ser humano ha
visto en quien actúa en su Nombre a un aliado y un amigo: «El que no está contra nosotros está a favor nuestro». El que ha encontrado a Jesus se
encamina a servir a los demás, en su Santo Nombre se declara liberación, sanación lo que es un signo de que el Reino de Dios ya está en medio de
nosotros. Jesús nos invita a que en su nombre juntos trabajemos para construir un mundo mejor sintiéndonos hermanos y donde el amor y la paz sean
el marco de nuestra vida.

Y le respondió Juan, diciendo: Maestro, hemos visto a uno que
en tu nombre echaba fuera demonios, pero él no nos sigue, y se
lo prohibimos, porque no nos sigue.
Pero Jesús dijo: No se lo prohibáis, porque ninguno hay que
haga milagro en mi nombre que luego pueda decir mal de mí.”
El discípulo de Jesús escoge lo que es bueno. Y lo que es bueno no
depende de quién lo hace.
Lo que es bueno puede venir de cualquiera. El Espíritu de Dios
está obrando en todas partes
del mundo. En este momento Abra, Reconozca y dé la Bienvenida
al bien sólo porque es bueno.
Quien está haciendo el bien debe ser nuestro colaborador, nuestro

Formación de Fe:
Los estudiantes que regresan para su segundo año de clases
tendrán el mismo maestro y salón de clase del año pasado.
A los Padres que no pudieron asistir a la reunión, deben de
llamar para hacer una cita conmigo para entregarle el calendario e informarle sobre los asuntos importantes hablado en
la reunión. Ningún estudiante podrá asistir a clase de Formación de Fe, si los Padres no asistieron a la reunión.

¿Qué es mâ importante –n ser rico en fe o rico en posesiones? La sociedad. Dios nos enseña una lección diferente. Cuando somos ricos en la fe sab emos que las cosas materiales realmente no importan y estamos mâs dispuestos a compartir aquello que tenemos.
San Vicente de Paul
El 27 de septiembre la Iglesia celebra la fiesta de San Vicente de
Paúl. San Vicente dijo: "El amor es inventivo hasta el infinito"
.
Los miembros de la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl, se encuentran en primeras filas trabajando por los pobres, reconociendo sus
necesidades.
Este mes, a través de su donación podemos asistir a las familias
necesitadas proveyendo alimentos, ropa y apoyo. Usted también
puede ayudar trayendo donaciones de alimentos al Nártex, y toda
ropa donada puede dejarla en el edificio de San Vicente (detrás de
Iglesia) los lunes, miércoles y viernes de 12:00 -2:30 p.m. Gracias.

Las Aguas Mansas
Que tus palabras sean como aguas mansas pero en constante movimiento, que con paciencia se van abriendo camino.
Que sean una bendición para los campos áridos, que sean dadoras
de vida para todas las plantas que se nutran de tus palabras convertidas en agua.
Que con dulzura se introduzcan en la vida de los sedientos, que
necesitan de un trago para seguir viviendo, no te fijes quien se
aprovecha de ellas, simplemente fluye.
Las palabras pueden ser una poesía, una frase célebre, un consejo,
un cuento, una felicitación, una reflexión, incluso hasta un chiste,
sin embargo deben seguir un cauce de amor para que llegue a todos.
Tus palabras pueden ser también en un momento dado, como las
aguas que bajan con fuerza, velocidad y en grandes cantidades,
destructivas y mortales, pues a su paso se desbordan y ahogan.
Esta diferencia la marca los sentimientos que nos embargan en el
momento que las emitimos, de cada uno depende que nuestras
palabras den vida o por el contrario destruyan y asesinen.
Transformémonos igual que el agua, que nuestras palabras y pensamientos cuando no sean positivos se conviertan en hielo, y
queden mudas y estáticas.
Que cuando sean para compartir, estas sean líquido que se usa para
conservar y crear la vida.
Y que sean vapor cuando queramos que estas lleguen a las alturas,
para que el Buen Dios, las distribuya más sabiamente, en forma de
lluvia, a todos sin distinción.
Benditas sean todas las palabras de amor, que de ti procedan, pues
eso demuestra que tu corazón está en buenas manos...
Navegando tus finanzas en la manera de Dios, un estudio
de las escrituras que enseña la perspectiva del dinero y
las posesiones será llevado a cabo los martes en la noche
de 7pm a 9pm comenzando el 15 de septiembre en el
edificio de Padre Anderson. Estudiantes lean y contesten
las preguntas acerca de los versículos de la Biblia que
son discutidos en clase. La enseñanza aumenta a través
de las practicas personales (asignaciones) y ayuda a los
estudiantes a implementar los principios de la Biblia en
el diario vivir. Ninguna información personal financiera
es revelada.
No importa tu edad, retirado o trabajando, casado o soltero, con mucho o poco dinero esto es para ti! Con más de
2500 versos en la biblia que están relacionados acerca
del dinero o posesiones… esto debe ser algo muy importante!
Materiales están disponibles en español o inglés. Se
puede anotar después de las misas del domingo 30 de
