Arrive Chiang Mai Airport. Drive to Chiang Rai and lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Chiang Saen, former
capital of the first Thai Kingdom, situated directly on Mekong River at border between Thailand and Laos. Visit
Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti by climbing 383 steps to top of hill. Also visit Wat Chedi Luang and small museum
nearby. Continue by longtail speedboat upriver on the Mekong toward Golden Triangle where borders of
Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Check in at IMPERIAL GOLDEN TRIANGLE RESORT or similar hotel.

Depart from Chiang Saen to visit Lisu Village at Ban Mae Kaotom and continue uphill via Mae Chan to visit
Yao and Akha hilltribe village. Proceed to Doi Mae Salong, passing through beautiful mountain scenery. View
takes in a stunning view of Thailand, Myanmar and the Mekong Valley. Lunch at Mae Salong Villa in Doi Mae
Salong. Depart Doi Mae Salong to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town on the Myanmar border. Walk around
local market with opportunity for shopping. Before returning to Chiang Rai, short stop at fish cave. Check in at
THE LEGEND CHIANG RAI BOUTIQUE RIVER RESORT & SPA or similar hotel. Dinner and

Chiang Rai—Thatorn—Hmong Hilltribe Lodge (B/L/D)
Breakfast
Leave hotel for boat landing. Board simple longtail motorboats for three-hour journey up Kok River, passing
tiny hilltribe villages, bamboo huts and jungle scenery. Disembark at Ban Pha Tai and continue by bus to visit
Ban Lorcha, a Phami Akha hilltribe community center. This community-based tourism development project
promotes sustainable, self-reliant development to improve the quality of life of villagers of this Akha
Community, and is a model for tourism in Hilltribe villages. Drive to Mae Kok River Lodge for lunch. Proceed
to Mae Rim via Fang and Chiang Dao. Continue by landrover to HMONG HILLTRIBE LODGE, for BBQ dinner
followed by presentation of Meo dances and overnight stay.

Drive to elephant camp and watch elephants taking timber in forest. Their strength and strategic teamwork will
amaze you.

Take one-hour elephant safari into the surrounding countryside.

Continue with visit to orchid farm and lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Handicraft Villages to see
manufacture of lacquerware, spinning and weaving of Thai Silk and to watch how paper umbrellas are made.
Also visit a well-known Thai wood-carving factory, with possibility of buying Burmese antiques.
19:15-22:15 Kantoke Dinner. Enjoy typical Thai dinner with ancient dances from northern Thailand followed by a
performance of dances and songs by various hilltribes.

remains of many generations of the old Chiang Mai Royal Family. Also visit Wat Doi Suthep, tucked away in
the mountains at 1,056 meters above sea level. Lunch at local restaurant.

Pick up all passengers from major Bangkok hotels.
Depart from Bangkok to Ayuthaya, former capital of Thailand. The principal sights are the gigantic bronze
statues of Wat Mongkol Borpitr, the three ancient pagodas at Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch and Wat
Pranangcherng. Continue via Saraburi to Phra Buddha Badh with its shrine of the holy footprint of Lord
Buddha. Proceed to Lopburi for lunch. Visit the Prang Sam Yod (Sacred Three-Spired Pagoda), the ruins of
Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat and the Monkey Temple. Proceed by bus to Pitsanuloke and check in at
TOPLAND or similar hotel. Dinner and accommodations.
Pitsanuloke—Sukhothai—Sri Satchanalai—Lampang (B/L/D)

Visit Wat Maha Dhat with its revered Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Jinaraj. Depart for Sukhothai, Visit the
famous ruins of this first capital of Thailand (1257-1379). See Wat Maha Dhat, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Sri
Chum. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Sri Satchanalai, the northern outpost town of the Kingdom of
Sukhothai, built by King Ramkamhaeng. Visit Wat Chang Lom, Wat Jedi Jet Thaew, Wat Nang Phya and
Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat standing on site of the Khmer fort "Chalieng." Proceed to Lampang and
check in at WIANG LAKOR or similar hotel. Dinner and accommodations.
Lampang—Phayao—Chiang Rai (B/L/D)
Breakfast
Drive to Ko Kah to see Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang housing the only Emerald Buddha, besides the one
at Wat Phra Keo in Bangkok. Depart for Phayao, a unique rural town and former princely state the former
glory of which may be seen at Wat Sri Kom Kam. Proceed to Chiang Rai and lunch at local restaurant.
Continue to Chiang Saen, former capital of the first Thai kingdom, situated directly on the Mekong River at

Depart for the Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak, situated 110 kms west of Bangkok. The old style and
traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, etc., from smallboats. You will also see traditional
Thai houses, the way they live and travel by boats and riding on a small boat to experience the canal and
floating market. Continue to Kanchanaburi and visit allied War Cemetery, the resting-place for over 6,000
allied POW. Then visit Thailand-Burma Railway Centre Museum, a realistic depiction of POW living
quarters, with photographic, pictorial and physical memorabilia dating from World War II. Also visit the
World - Famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of the Death Railway constructed by allied prisoner of
War.

Visit an ancient city cite found in the Kwai Noi River basin, Prasat Muang Singh, a Khmer-style ninthcentury temple. The important discoveries made near the ancient city remains include prehistoric human

architecture; and the laterite ruins of the 13th century.
Drive to Wang Po station and take a ride on the "Death railways" train through magnificent scenery and
passing over the original wooden viaduct constructed by the allied POW to Thakilen Station. Check in at

Palace. The whole compound is comprised of royal halls, palaces, temples and other buildings which
were elegantly constructed in a well-balanced Thai, neoclassical Western and Chinese architectural
styles.

Pranburi—Prachuap Khirikhan—Chumporn—Khao Sok (B/L/D)

Drive southwards to Prachuap Khirikhan to visit Khao Chong Krajok on an idyllic bay surrounded by
impressive peaks. Walk to hillside small pagoda, 415 steps up from the beach, to admire beautiful
panorama of this quiet fishing town. Continue 3 hours drive down South through the coconut plantation to
province Chumporn. Lunch at local restaurant.
Continue to Khao Sok via Surathani. Visit Ban Phumriang, a small handicraft which is notable for its gold
and silver brocade silk cloth and jute head gear. Continue visit to Phra Borom That Chaiya, this ancient
chedi houses Buddha relics, which are highly revered by local residents. The restored Phra Borom That
Chaiya serves as a fine example of Srivijaya’s influence on religious architecture and is believed to have
been built more than 1,200 years ago. Along the courtyard of the chedi are several sculptures and
Buddha images.

Start the acitivity, transfer to elephant camp, here you can see, touch and find out about the life of Thai
elephants and about the elephant conservation project the company is running. Also the guide will explain
about the life of the mahout, the man who takes care of the elephant. Trekking on elephant back is a
unique experience here in the rainforest, what better way is there to get a bird’s eye view of nature.
Returning from the jungle with a huge appetite you will appreciate the buffet lunch that is served, a variety
of Thai dishes cooked not too spicy. After lunch take a jungle river canoe trip down the Sok river. The
canoes are very stable and safe, life jackets are provided as well as a local river guide to paddle the
canoe. Drift along the jungle river passing limestone mountains and cliffs covered with exotic tropical
vegetation. Some times hornbill can be seen flying high overhead or reptiles basking in the sun on the
riverbanks. From the canoe you can experience a world that has changed little in thousands of years,
some of the last areas of primary rainforest.

closer to nature self paddle canoes with life jackets are available for a silent journey into this dense green
world. Emerging further along the coast meet up with our classical Burmese junk where lunch will be

on board. Cruising on the junk gives the feeling of traveling back in time when nature was untouched. In

Day 4 Thekkady In the morning, proceed for an exciting boat ride in Lake Periyar. Periyar sanctuary, the main attraction of

Day 5 Kumarakom This morning, proceed to Kumarakom (130kms/4hrs). Arrive Kumarakom by noon and transfer to your

for a backwater cruise. It is also called as “The Venice of the East”. In the afternoon, visit the bird sanctuary, an ornithologist's

Day 6 Kovalam In the morning, drive to Kovalam (165kms/5hrs) by car. Arrive Kovalam and check into your hotel. Kovalam

First we take you inland to the most scenic area of Puputan and Antosari the morning light is ideal for taking pictures of the unique rice terraces. After passing through the florid

the opportunity for lunch ( optional ). After a relaxing brak we continue this total 230km route winding up the mountain and offering magnificent views until about 1.200 meters
above the seal lever where a striking panorama is revealed. Passing by Lake Buyan and Tamblingan allow you to view onto an area habitant for may soecies of birds, trees and
flowers unseen anywhere else on the island. We stop at Bedugul to visit Lake Bratan with the floating Temple of Ulun Danu, which is dedicated to the goodes of water, dwelling

Breakfast at hotel. You can just relax at hotel or stroll around SINGARAJA. For 400 years, this city has been
Bali’s traditional point of contact with the outside world. Lovina beach is located only a couple of kilometers wet

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Meet and assist. Guests would be transferred to the
hotel in Amman for over night.
Day 2: After breakfast, guests would be transferred to Jerash (Local Guide available on site), and Um
Qais. Head back to Amman for over night at the hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast, guests would be transferred for a city tour of Amman (2-3 hours). PM guests
would head to the Dead Sea hotel for over night.
Day 4: After breakfast, guests would be transferred to Madaba, Mount Nebo and Kerak. Guests would
head onto Petra for over night at the hotel in Petra.
Day 5: After breakfast, a full days visit of Petra including the 800-meters horse ride. (5-Hour EnglishSpeaking guide Local Guide available on site). Over night will be at the Hotel in Petra.
