How to configure ANR Exchange email with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
For this documentation, I will use some screenshots from an iPad. The settings menu may look slightly
different on an iPhone and iPod Touch.
1. Click Settings (image from iPhone).
2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars to see the menu below. Under Accounts, select Add Account…
3. Select Microsoft Exchange
4. Use the following settings:
Email: [email protected]
Domain: ANR
Username: your username
Password: your password
Description: You can name this anything you like
Note: Only the password field is case sensitive
5. Select Next and your phone will start Verifying.
Please note: This step may take a few minutes since we have to manually add the server address in the
next step.
6. This is where we manually add the server.
Server: mail.collegemail.msu.edu
Note: You may get an error saying server cannot be contacted, but just press OK. Please make sure all
of your settings are correct at this point.
Email: [email protected]
Server: mail.collegemail.msu.edu
Domain: ANR
Username: your username
Password: your password
Description: You can name this anything you like
7. Select the items you wish to sync and click Save.
8. Now under Mail, Contacts, Calendars in Settings, you should see your ANR email account.
9. You are now done! It may take a few minutes depending on the speed of your internet/data
connection, so please wait a few minutes for everything to fully sync.
