PRESENTACIÓN Estimados Colegas: En nombre del Comité Organizador, es un gran honor para mi invitaros a nuestra Sexta Edición del Santander International Orthop Meeting. En esta ocasión el congreso será un Instructional Course Update básico y avanzado de todas las articulaciones, realizando un repaso de la anatomía, radiología y técnicas actuales en artroscopia. Así mismo se incluirá en cada módulo una puesta al día de las prótesis de cada articulación. Las fechas de celebración de la Sexta Edición del Santander International Orthop Meeting serán en el Palacio de Festivales, Santander, España el 13 y 14 de Febrero del 2014. Este symposium ha sido planificado para cirujanos ortopédicos, radiólogos y médicos rehabilitadores y fisioterapeutas así como profesionales sanitarios involucrados en la medicina deportiva y en la cirugía articular y es una respuesta a la necesidad de educación en el diagnóstico y manejo de una variedad de nuevas patologías y a una puesta al día en temas actuales. Tras participar en este programa de 2 días estarás más capacitado para complementar tu práctica habitual con las técnicas artroscópicas así como conocer las ventajas de diferentes prótesis y técnicas quirúrgicas nuevas. El complemento de la anatomía y radiología para la comprensión diagnóstica enriquecerá tu práctica habitual. Los excepcionales profesores han sido seleccionados por sus opiniones punteras. Dr. Luis Pérez Carro WELCOME ADDRESS Dear Colleagues On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Santander and to the 6 th Santander International Orthop Meeting, focused on all joint arthroscopy and arthroplasty. The timing of the 6th edition of Santander International Orthop Meeting will be in the Palacio de Festivales, Santander Spain February 13-14 2014. This symposium has been planned for orthopaedic surgeons and other health care professionals involved in arthroscopy and arthroplasty and is a response to the need for education in the diagnosis and management of a variety of new joint conditions and to update hot topics in Arthroplasty. After participating in this 2 days program you will better able to define and implement arthroscopy techniques in your practice as well as the advantages of different surgical techniques and to know the new technologies currently available in arthroscopic surgery and joint prostheses.
