1st Quarter 2016 Horizons Club Members, Daylight Savings Time is right around the corner which means “Spring has Sprung” and the Horizons Club is in full swing for 2016. We had a great group that went to Washington, D.C. for the holidays. We saw beautiful Christmas decorations and toured Washington, as well as Mt. Vernon. What a great trip! We had 20 that joined us for our “Travel Talk” Tuesday, back in January. We have made a few changes to our trips since then that we think you will all April 26, 2016 enjoy. We have added “Branson” and “A Christmas Celebration”. Details on both of these trips, as well as our other events, are in this newsletter. Bingo in Branchville is right around the corner. North Carolina Mountains in the Fall October 30-November 1, 2016 $489 pp/double $463 pp/triple $449 pp/quad $575 single A wonderful opportunity to enjoy spectacular fall foliage in the Great Smoky Mountains can be yours. We will travel to the Great Smoky Mountains, enjoying the views from Chimney Rock Lookout, have lunch (included) at the Moose Cafe’ and shop at the Farmers Market. We will spend 2 nights at the very lovely and upscale Harrah’s Hotel in Cherokee. In addition, we will stop in the little mountain town of Waynesville, and enjoy a trolley tour of Asheville. You will have free time both evenings to enjoy the hotel and the many shops now at Harrah’s or you may even venture into the casino. Step back in time 2000 years. You will feel like you have returned to Jerusalem for the First Nativity. This museum is now ranked in the top 10 museums in the United States. We will also spend 1 night at Callaway Gardens. Their “Fantasy In Lights” Christmas light display is magnificient. Before leaving for our lights tour, we will enjoy a Christmas dinner, included, at our Inn. Also included will be a guided tour of the gardens as well as a visit to the Butterfly House. Includes: 1 night at The Mountain Creek Inn, 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch (Seddar Meal) and 1 Dinner.
