VINBasic™ HD
VINBasic™ HD Trucks is the ideal solution for VIN decoding, validation, and
verification of Mid to Heavy duty trucks. This data is used within fleet programs,
vehicle remarketing, and within backend systems to identify heavier trucks, partial
chassis, and incomplete vehicles. VINBasicTM HD covers Class 5-8 trucks from the
year 2000 forward, and is updated on a daily basis.
Class 5-8 mid-heavy duty trucks are very different from fully built light duty trucks
in that the OEM’s offer nearly limitless customization and and up-fitting. This file
provides a core field set to assist with vehicle identification of year, make, model,
trim, body style, engine and weights as well as several other fields indicated by the
VIN. The DataOne VINBasic HD Trucks product leads the market in VIN coverage
and accuracy.

is frequently used to normalize vehicle data to the OEM/brand compliant standard for vehicle descriptions, making this data
both consumer friendly and franchise dealer compatible. VINBasic Powersports is comprised of i) a motorcycle and scooter only
product, and ii.) both motorcycle/scooter plus ATV/UTV.
VINBasic™ Moto: Street legal motorcycles and scooters for 49 OEMs including all major brands through to most of the smaller
brands that have production output that meets criteria for distinct VIN “Make” encoding.
VINBasic™ Powersports (Includes Moto): This data set covers ATV and UTV for 9 major brands as follows: Arctic Cat, Can-Am, Honda,
