Specimen Collection Kit
For specimen collection and transport, this system provides disposable products
for the convenient collection, delivery, and testing of urine specimens. A plastic
cup is provided for specimen collection and the pressure sensitive patient identification labels have ample writing space. The lightweight transport rack is small
and easy to carry yet provides space for up to 20 tubes with labels and caps.
The tubes are made of sturdy polystyrene and are
safe for centrifuging. The flared top permits the
use of a midget urinometer ensuring a tight cap fit.
All elements of the system are disposable. A case
contains 500 specimen collection cups, 500 15 mL
collection tubes, 500 white caps, 500 pressure
sensitive labels, and 5 transport racks.

Urine Sedimentation System
A 12 ml graduated urine tube with cap. The tube is produced from a special
polystyrene which greatly reduces the possibility of breaking and/or cracking.
The Decanting Pipette is made specifically to fit the tube. After centrifugation
inserting the pipette to the bottom of the tube allows you to decant off the
supernatant while maintaining 1mL of sediment in the bottom of the tube for
further evaluation.
The optically clear acrylic slide has an integrated cover slip with 10 chambers.
Each of the chambers is individually sealed to prevent sample cross contamination and each slide may be used for up to ten patient samples simultaneously.
The flatness of the slide as well as the uniform distance between the cover slip
and the viewing platform provides a single focal plane across all ten chambers.

Anaerobic Transport System
The Anaerobic Transport System is a sterile, ready-to-use collection kit,
consisting of a swab in a peel pouch and a glass tube containing a semisolid, pre-reduced transport medium.
The medium has an indicator that turns lavender if the anaerobic condition of the tube is compromised. Fluids can be injected with a syringe
directly into the tube through the pierce able, rubber septum. Viability
of a wide variety of microorganisms is maintained for up to 48 hours
during transportation.

Multi Transport System
Multitrans™ is a complete collection and transportation system for viruses,
chlamydia, mycoplasma, and ureaplasma. The system consists of a 10ml polypropylene tube with screw cap, containing a transport medium with antibiotics and

Pre-Filled Multiple Biopsy Container—CORE DISH™
Performing a large number of biopsies means an increase in the number of containers handled and consequently a technical overload of the transmission network, which occurs without any financial counterpart. A new approach had to
be developed in order to increase productivity.
We’re proud to offer a multi-compartment container in the shape of a dish and
half prefilled with 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin, for holding and transporting
biopsies. It is supplied with a leakproof closure with O-ring ensuring total protection of contents. It conforms to OSHA directives. The Simport CoreDish™
measures only 15 x 95 mm in diameter. Each compartment is clearly identified
to allow proper placement and visualization of the biopsy being inserted. Thanks
to the CoreDish™ it is no more necessary to use a multitude of individual containers, thereby reducing risks of confusion.

Biopsy Foam Pads
Biopsy foam pads are used to hold biopsies in place
and prevent them from being lost during processing.
They are made of a specially formulated foam which
is always verified for consistency throughout in
order to achieve optimum solvent flow. Biopsy
samples are sandwiched between two foam pads
and are placed either in tissue capsules or cassettes*

PARA/Gard™ Paraffin Repellent
PARA/Gard™ is a pleasant smelling, non-toxic spray
specifically formulated to keep metal, wood and plastic
surfaces looking brand new. Useful to clean paraffin
cluttered areas or, better yet, as a preventive to keep
paraffin from sticking to laboratory surfaces. Best
sprayed onto a Kimwipe and then apply a thin coating to
effected surfaces.
Not recommended for use on microtome blades, blade
holders or base molds that come into direct contact
with specimen ribbons as PARA/Gard™ will dissolve the
paraffin section.
Daily cleaning chores will be reduced to a minimum.

Easy I and Easy III Step Rapid Stain
This full line of stains is for use in both automated and manual staining protocols.
They work well with most popular automated instruments. The stains can be
used on both peripheral blood and bone marrow sections. Easy III stains are
rapid hematology staining systems that utilize three prepared solutions.
Stain Set ES902A consists of 16-oz. fixative solution, 16-oz. eosin y solution and
16-oz. methylene blue solution. Easy III components are also sold individually.
Easy I stains are single-step staining solutions for differential blood smears. Easy I

Endogenous Peroxidase Blockers
Mouse Detective
Mouse Detective is an immunohistochemical reagent designed for blocking endogenous mouse IgG in mouse tissues and red blood cells. After the application
of mouse detective, a mouse monoclonal antibody can be applied followed by a
biotinylated mouse link and Streptavidin label used for detection of mouse on
mouse. It can also be used on an automated staining system.
Peroxidazed 1
A potent blocker for endogenous peroxidase, optimized for use with paraffinembedded sections. The product is highly stable and superior to 3% hydrogen
peroxide in water and methanol. This product can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated. The specially formulated diluent used makes the blocker
compatible for both paraffin and frozen sections.
Peroxabolish
A non-hydrogen peroxide-based formula that is safe and extremely gentle on
tissues and cells. This novel formula is highly effective in quenching endogenous
peroxidase. It is extremely effective if used after antigen retrieval methods in
paraffin-embedded, formalin-fixed tissues, or can be safely used for frozen sections.

Background Sniper (Universal)
A blue color-coded universal blocking reagent for IHC procedures. It has been

Background Terminator
Used when excessive background problems exist. Background Terminator has
been specifically designed for goat anti-mouse and goat anti-rabbit detection
systems.
V-Blocker
V-Blocker is a universal blocking reagent used for reducing nonspecific background staining often observed with immunohistochemistry on an automated
staining system. This formulation has been proven to be the most effective
blocking reagent for automated IHC systems. It can be used in the conventional
manner by applying before the primary antibody; however, using V-Blocker after
the primary antibody and before detection has shown to be much more effective, especially when using double stain or multiplex applications.

Background Predator Kit
Background Predator incorporates the avidin-blocking solution into the IHC

most cases, endogenous biotin in tissue sections is masked by formalin
(Background Predator A and B) fixation; however, if avidin-biotin IHC detection
systems (Streptavidin) are used with tissues pretreated with a heat-induced,
epitope retrieval method (HIER), an avidin-biotin blocking technique may be
required.
Chromogens

The Revival Series of Super Antibody Diluents: DaVinci Green, Monet Blue,
Renoir Red and Van Gogh Yellow are optimized formulations for improving
antibody titers and are extremely stable for long-term storage. The color-coded
Revival diluents were compared to the majority of PBS-based and Tris-based
diluents available. In the majority of cases, titers have been improved 2 to 4
times with either DaVinci Green, Monet Blue, Renoir Red or Van Gogh Yellow
diluents. Greater dilution of primary antibodies provides higher specificity, thus
potentially eliminating false positives.
Antigen Retrieval Solutions
HIER Buffer
These buffers unmask epitopes that have been cross-linked by formalin fixation.
These solutions are specially formulated for superior pH stability at high temperatures. All Decloaker solutions incorporate Assure™ color-coded pH indicator technology, this assures by visual inspection that the solution is at the correct dilution and pH. Products can be stored at room temperature, with the
exception of EDTA. All buffers are sodium azide and thimerosal free. These

The XH-4002 is a large capacity tabletop
style paraffin dispenser. Its industrial metal

Shipping Policy
Shipping is generally done via FEDEX, UPS, or best way methods the
customer may request.
Certain items that weigh over 50 lbs may incur additional freight charges
above our Flat Rate Shipping.
Certain hazardous items may have shipping restrictions and may require
additional hazardous charges. UPS or FED EX may not accept these
items and alternate shipping methods will be used. We will make every
effort to minimize shipping charges.
Shipping regulations are constantly changing but we will try to inform
our customers as this occurs.
We will attempt to ship from the warehouse nearest to the ordering
customer.

Return Policy
My item is broken or damaged. What do I do?
Broken or damaged items must be reported immediately upon receiving your
package (5 business days). Please inspect your merchandise to ensure that no
concealed damage has incurred.
All appliances and equipment are considered as received in good condition upon
signature of delivery confirmation. Please inspect these items for damage prior
to signing off on the condition.
If it becomes necessary to return a damaged item to Microlab, please contact
customer service at [email protected], or 787-963-1370 for a replacement.
How do I return an item?
Email [email protected] or call 787-963-1370 for a Returned Merchandise
Authorization number (RMA) within 30 days of receipt of the product. Microlab
Technologies must receive the product within 15 days of Microlab issuing the
Returned Merchandise Authorization. The product must be in the original packaging or the return will be rejected. RMA numbers must appear on the packing
list and items being returned must be packaged and shipped in accordance with
all applicable regulation. All items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Items not returnable for credit include: open or damaged containers; materials
past their expiration date or with an expiration date too short for resale; materials requiring refrigeration; custom or specials orders; and chemicals of any
type.
Any supplies or equipment that have been used and are being returned for a
warranty repair may require that a decontamination process be performed before returned.

PRICE
All prices offered by Microlab or quoted by Microlab's representatives may be changed
at any time without notice. All prices quoted by Microlab or Microlab's representatives
are valid for thirty (30) days, unless otherwise stated in writing. All prices for the products will be as specified by Microlab or, if no price has been specified or quoted, will be
Microlab's price in effect at the time of shipment. All prices are subject to adjustment
on account of specifications, quantities, raw materials, cost of production, shipment
arrangements or other terms or conditions which are not part of Microlab's original
price quotation.
TAXES AND OTHER CHARGES
Prices for the Products exclude all sales, value added and other taxes and duties imposed with respect to the sale, delivery, or use of any Products covered hereby, all of
which taxes and duties must by paid by Buyer. If Buyer claims any exemption, Buyer
must provide a valid, signed certificate or letter of exemption for each respective jurisdiction.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Microlab will invoice upon shipment for the price and all other charges payable by Buyer in accordance with the terms on the face hereof. If no payment terms agreement are
stated on the customer account, payments are PREPAID or COD. Customers may
apply for a credit line with Microlab. If Buyer fails to pay any amounts when due, Buyer
shall pay Microlab interest thereon at a periodic rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%)
per month (or, if lower, the highest rate permitted by law), together with all costs and
expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements and
court costs) incurred by Microlab in collecting such overdue amounts or otherwise
enforcing Microlab's rights hereunder. Microlab reserves the right to require from
Buyer full or partial payment in advance, or other security that is satisfactory to Microlab, at any time that Microlab believes in good faith that Buyer's financial condition does
not justify the terms of payment specified. All payments shall be made in U.S. Dollars.
