WELCOME
NBPF Netherlands is proud to host the 6th WBPF European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports
Championships in the city of Breda, Netherlands
The organizing committee of the 6th WBPF European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports
Championships (2015) wishes to extend a warm welcome to all European member countries of the
WBPF (World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation).

This is the first time that we organize a European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in
the historical city of Breda. The International Congress and 6th European Bodybuilding and
Physique Sports Championships will be held respectively on Friday, 5th and Saturday, 6th of
June 2015. On Sunday, 7th of June, we will have Walters Open Holland Cup 2015, which is a separate
contest in the same weekend at the same location.(This time only Dutch and Belgian athletes can
compete at Walters Open Holland Cup 2015)

President of NBPF and his team of organizers. This competition is sanctioned by the European
Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (EBPF), a member of WBPF. The EBPF is led by
President Axel Bauer of Austria and Secretary General Mrs. Ildiko Buranits of Hungary. The
Netherlands Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation is striving hard to promote Bodybuilding and
Physique Sports throughout the country at grass root level. This continental event besides raising the
standards of bodybuilding and physique sports in Europe will popularise the game amongst the masses.
We are delighted to know, that many European countries are participating with their best teams in this
year’s event in Breda and we are very confident that the 6th European Bodybuilding and Physique
Sports Championships will prove to be successful with the active participation of not only the
competitors and officials, but also the spectators. We would like to express our deep appreciation on
behalf of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (WBPF) for dedicated and untiring
efforts to make these championships a success and promote the sport at continental level in Europe.

BREDA
Breda is a city of history, but also a place with lots of shopping centers, museums and modern
architecture and exhibitions. You will find it all in the city of Breda.
Do not forget the famous big church (Onze Lieve Vrouwe Kerk) and the castle of Breda and Begijnhof.
Breda has fast railway connection with many cities, like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and
Antwerp (Belgium). You will find a mixture of the north and the south of Holland, where Dutch and
Belgium taste come together, also called Bourgondian life style.

Chasse theatre is located in the city and in a shopping center, and it is one of the most beautiful venues
in the Netherlands, with a capacity of 1500 seats. Also a huge foyer is part of the Theatre, and also
includes the famous Holland Casino, where you can try your luck, if you wish. Restaurants and nice
pubs and a movie theatre are inside the building, so you will never feel bored or lonely. A spacious
parking space is located beneath the theatre, and another one opposite the venue.

OFFICIAL HOTELS
The official hotels recommended by the organizing committee are listed below. You have to make your
own hotel reservations, and make the bookings directly with one of the hotels, listed below.
TANNING
Be sure, that you do not use tanning products in your hotel room, or damage your room!! This will be
checked by the hotel direction very carefully, several times a day. Any damage or stains will have to be
covered by you personally! The organizing committee strongly recommends that you bring your own
beddings and towels with you, so there will be no damages. Tanning should be done at the theatre,
contest place, we have several tanning cabins available at the contest/warm up area. (If you wish to use
the tanning cabins send email to Wesley van Staveren: [email protected] (costs € 30,- pp, with oil € 35,- pp)

Do not do your tanning/application of tanning products at the hotel (in the hotel room) as this may cause
damages you have to pay for later on.
The organizing NBPF committee has made a special arrangement with these hotels, and they will give
you a special room rate, including breakfast. The rooms should be booked directly at the hotel, using the
code: "EBPF Bodybuilding/Fitness 2015". In this way, you will get the special room rate.
AMRATH HOTEL BRABANT BREDA:
This hotel will be the headquarters for the accommodation of the organizing committee, athletes,
officials and supporters. We urge and advise everybody to stay at this hotel. Weigh-in and athlete
registration will also take place at this hotel, for the European Championships 2015 and also for the
Walters Open Holland Cup 2015.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
HOTEL SECURITY DEPOSIT
A hotel security deposit of € 100,- per person is required upon check in for incidental and personal
expenses that may arise (telephone, minibar, laundry, room-services etc.). The unused portion of this
deposit will be refunded at check out. In order to facilitate matters, the Chief Delegate or Team Manager
will be asked to provide a credit card or cash money to cover the deposit for the entire team. This
individual will be fully responsible for all expenses incurred by any members of his or her team.

All competitors, delegates, officials for the European Championships 2015 should arrive in Breda on
Friday, 5th of June 2015 at Amrath Hotel Brabant.

Note that the European Championships 2015 will take place on one day only, Saturday 6th of
June 2015, (because Sunday, 7th of June 2015 Walters Open Holland Cup will be organized in the
same theatre.) Please take note of this program!!
SHUTTLE SERVICE
Complimentary shuttle service will be available only on Friday, 5th of June 2015, from Rotterdam
Airport/Eindhoven Airport/Amsterdam (Schiphol) Airport to the city of Breda, and back on Sunday, 7th of
June 2015. Breda has no airport, so we need to know on time, your arrival time/flight no. and place of
arrival. We would appreciate if you can travel by car or train to Breda, makes it easier for us.
Travelling time by car from Rotterdam to Breda takes about 45 minutes, same for Eindhoven. From
Amsterdam to Breda it takes about one hour by car.
Shuttle charges: € 25,- p.p.
Shuttle busses go back on Sunday, 7th of June to the different airports. See time table at the hotel lobby.
P.S.: Low budget air companies, fly frequently to Rotterdam Airport and Eindhoven Airport, so check
these airports for cheaper flight tickets.

APPLICABLE COMPETITION RULES
WBPF Competition Rules published on the website www.wbpsf.org. Categories may be added as
deemed appropriate by EBPF in consultation with the organizer.
ENTRY FORMS
In order to assist in the planning and organization of these championships, please complete the entry
form and return it to the organizer, as soon as possible, but not later than 20th of May 2015.
All competitors register through the EBPF (European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation)
and NBPF (Netherlands Body Building and Physique Sports Foundation) and are requested to submit
their international entry form by email to:

REGISTRATION FEE
Upon the official registration/weigh-in each competitor has to pay € 50,- registration fee in cash.
Athletes, who want to compete in two disciplines (e.g. Masters and Senior Bodybuilding), have to pay
the registration fee only once.
Those athletes, who have not met the established requirements, who missed the deadline for
registration, will be denied participation.
COMPETITION REGISTRATION/WEIGH-IN
Mandatory Athlete and judges’ registration, payment of registration fee and weigh-in is going to take
place for all competitors competing in the European Championships 2015 on Friday, 5th of June 2015,
17:00 - 20:00 h. Each competitor will be provided with an athlete competitor wristband or pass. All
competitors must wear this wristband or pass for admission to the event hall.

ACCES TO BACK STAGE AREA/DRESSING ROOMS
Access to backstage area and or dressing rooms is strictly limited to only the relevant accredited
personnel.
CAMERA/VIDEO TAPE EQUIPMENT
The use of camera and/or video tape equipment is strictly prohibited in the backstage and or dressing
rooms areas, except when used by EBPF authorized media persons.

PARADE OF NATIONS
The dress code for all delegates and officials taking part in the Parade of Nations is the WBPF official
uniform. Athlete’s dress code during the Parade of Nations is track suits or competition attire.
NATIONAL ANTHEMS
All national federations must bring with them the music of their respective national anthems (30 seconds
version) on a compact disc. The national anthem must be on a separate CD from those which contain
the posing music of an athlete.
POSING MUSIC
All posing music must be on an audio CD encased in a plastic protective case with the competitors
name fixed upon the case of the CD, and the music properly cued at the beginning of the song title. The
use of profane, vulgar, and offensive language is strictly prohibited in the posing music. Posing music
must be 60 seconds for Men's/Women's Bodybuilding and Men’s Athletic Physique and 90 seconds for
Men's and Women's Fitness routine.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO TRAINERS/COACHES
No trainers/coaches will be permitted in the backstage area. Noncompliance with this rule will result in
disqualification and possible suspension.
VISAS
Please consult the Dutch embassy in your country to determine if you need a visa. An official letter
signed by the NBPF will be made available, if requested. If you need help for visa administration, please
send copy of passport to the organizer.
DUTCH and BELGIAN ATHLETES
Dutch and Belgian competitors, who are selected to compete in the European Championships on
Saturday, 6th of June 2015, will also have to compete on Sunday, 7th of June 2015, this is obligatory!

All major credit cards are widely accepted at most major hotels, stores, and restaurants.

During the month of May the average temperature is about 20°C.

The Electrical current is 220 voltages.
LANGUAGE
Official language is Dutch, but English and German is widely spoken in hotels, shops, restaurants and
tourist areas.
MEDIA ACCREDITATION
All media accreditation, except local media, shall be controlled by the organizer. All persons wishing to
obtain media accreditation for this event must register by completing and signing a media accreditation
form. Said form must be remitted to the organizer by email [email protected], no later than
25th of May 2015.
RESPONSIBILITY/IMPORTANT NOTICE
Athletes and officials and delegates, supporters are responsible for all the charges, during their stay in
the Netherlands like transport from and to the airport, travelling costs, hotel accommodation,
drinks/meals/hospital /travel and medical care insurance etc. The organizer (NBPF Foundation) is not
responsible in any way. It is the responsibility of the national federations or the individual athlete or
person.

Fitness/Power-Sports Expo at Chasse Theatre, on Sunday, 7th of June, need to take care of their
own transportation, back to the airport or train station.
