Your Resident Advisors
A Resident Advisor (RA) is an E-5 to E-9 single sailor or
Geographical Bachelor (GB) who lives in Unaccompanied
Housing (UH) and provides a senior presence for mentoring
and counseling of junior sailors residing in UH. The RA
program is designed to assist in maintaining good order and
discipline and will assist in enforcing UH policy. The RA’s area of
responsibility will be assigned by the UH LCPO and will include
but not limited to:
•Attend monthly RA meetings and other required
unscheduled RA meetings.
•Conduct walk-through of Unaccompanied Housing areas
for safety, security and maintenance integrity. Report any
damage/discrepancies.
•Conduct room inspections on a regular basis.
•Ensure smoking policy is enforced and smoking
areas are maintained.
•Ensure the installation drinking policy is implemented.
•Ensure cleanliness in the UH buildings and
grounds is maintained.
•The RA has a key role in this Navy Leadership Program
and is available to help you with your concerns. Please

Northwest year-round. We cater to many levels of outdoor

TRIDENT LAKES
Trident Lakes recreational area, located at NBK Bangor off
Trigger gate, offers pavilions, picnic tables and grills. Adjacent
to the picnic areas is a softball field available for reservation.
The lake is stocked each year and Washington State Fishing

Skate Parks
Naval Base Kitsap’s Bangor and Bremerton skate parks both
feature mini half pipes, two quarter pipes, a fun box with a
grind rail, a grind box and more. Our skateboard parks are

Providing sport leagues and tournaments for all MWR eligible
