A HUGE THANK YOU
to all who participated in
the Cedaredge Cubs 2015
reunion at The Pondy, Fri.
night, and at the Cedaredge
Park on Sat., Aug. 7 and 8,
respectively. So nice to see
classmates as well as so
many that graduated before
and after my class of 1974.
The group represented six
decades of Cubs, including
two wonderful ladies that
graduated in 1938! Special
thanks to Jerry McHugh,
who presented the thought;
Kevin Fischer, who brought
the thought to fruition;
Wanda McManus, Gene
Lillard, Steve Fischer, Ann
Reed, among others whose
mental and physical contributions made the “Cedaredge Cubs” reunion a
sweet
success.
Thanks
again, S.P. Briscoe. 33x1c

THANK YOU TO THE

Your dedication and hard
work made it possible once
again to show her talent
and what she loves to do,
make dolls. Sewing and
sometimes inventing things
for people that say, Flo, can
you make this? I can try is
her comment, but it always
puts a smile on her face
and that means more to me
than anything in the world.

“Say You Saw It In The High Country Shopper”
A BAND OF ANGELS
I have been recently released from the Willow
Tree nursing home. The
staff there treated me with
dignity, respect, honor and
most importantly, love.
Thank you to the “long,
lean Italian” who was wonderful and always full of
joy. “Mrs. Mushy” didn’t
fool me as I could see that
heart of gold. There was
“Sunshine” who enjoyed
“picking on me.” “Cookie,”
a wonderful and caring
woman. There was “Sweet
Pea,” who loved her garden. I will never forget my
“Little Philippinean” who
always made my day. There
was another angel with a
heart full of love and a
young man that seemed to
never stop. Thank you to
the entire fill-in nurses that
aided me along the way as
well. You all demonstrated
love and courage, as well
as passion in what you do. I
can’t forget the loving care I
received from all of the
therapists, doctors and their
staff. They gave me their
best and always with a
smile and displayed confidence as they expressed the
proceedings to me and my
family. Now comes the
greatest angel of them all,
my wonderful, caring wife.
Without her being there all
the way, I would have
never made it this far. My
wonderful family’s smiles
and encouragement also
helped me through. Thank
you to all my friends for
their wonderful support.
Thank you from this man
who walked the line looking for the crossover to a
better Land. This Band of
Angels did more than just
their jobs. They kept my
spirits up as I experienced
my darkest times. To all
that helped me perform all
the essential parts of life,
you have my undying gratitude. You all helped me
through my transition back
to home and I love you all
for that. Gale Conger.

be out of sight! You’ve never
seen Heritage Hall look like
this. All the food and drink
will be locally produced and

churches. You can shop the
arts and crafts fair outside
around the concert and inside Heritage Hall where you

THE WILLIAMS PASS
Jeep Trail (NFST) #298 will
remain closed this year due
to large amounts of rainfall
this spring and continuing

conditions are too wet and
