Rochester Brainery was founded in March 2013 by Stephanie
Rankin and Danielle Raymo. Rochester Brainery allows people
to connect with their community through fun, affordable and
accessible classes.
Each month you'll find a variety of classes on an unrestricted
variety of topics. Learn from local authors, mixologists, actors,
dancers, artists, graphic designers, beer-brewers, and more. Anything goes as long as there is something to be learned! The best
part is? All of the classes are $30 or less! We also focus on
single-session classes, so you don't have to make a long-term
commitment. If you are interested in teaching a class, that is
available as well.

Charter Night for Rochester Southeast Rotary. Bill
Moehle and Chuck and Marian Turner attended the
Charter Night on February 23. Rochester Southeast is
the 70th club in District 7120 and has 24 members.
Dave ("Bippy") Boyer, formerly a member of the
Honeoye Falls-Mendon Rotary Club, is serving as the
club's first president. DG Bill Gormont gave a stirring
induction speech and, as is traditional with a new club,
presented the club with a contribution from the district
in the amount of $600 to help with initial start-up
expenses. The Monroe South Rotary Club served as the
sponsoring club. The club meets Mondays from 5:30 PM
to 6:30 PM at the PILLAR Christian Church Community,
a storefront location at 46 Mt. Hope Ave (across from
Time Warner Cable). Hopefully we can have a joint
meeting with them some evening.
Oratorical Contest: The semi-final oratorical contest
was held at BHS on Wednesday February 24.
The winners were:
First Place - Mackenzie Orcutt,
Wayne Central High School
Second Place - Gabrielle Pancio,
Penfield High School
Third Place - Bronwen Pelish,
Penfield High School
They will be participating in the finals at MCC
in late March.

participated and did very well.
Thanks to volunteers Tony Conte (tabulator), Chuck
Krusenstjerna, Deanna Krusenstjerna and Marian Turner
(refreshments and escorts), and Angela TitiAmayah and

with the event.
