Punching system:
SPORTident punching system will be used.
SI cards available for borrow, 3-day fee is 10 PLN.
If you do not fill out the SI box in the entry form, it will be treated as a
wish to borrow one. After 13.07.2016 all competitors without SI will be
assigned SI cards provided by the organizer, with no change options.
Fine for losing an SI card is 120-200 PLN (depending on its type)
Stage 1 – 22.07.2016
STAGE 1 - 22.07.2016 (Friday) – Urban race
map „UZDROWISKO Rabka - Zdrój”

Terrain description:
A mixture of urban and park terrain, including spa park, Instytutu
Gruźlicy, , forest with medium runnability,, football stadium and river
enbankments.
Average speed for class M21E in this terrain is ca. 4 min/km.
Competition centre, start, finish and car parks are marked on the
below plan:
Start of this stage will be located next to the amphitheatre, in the
quarantine area.
Contestants wait in 3 pre-start boxes. Additional control descriptions
will be in box 2. In the last box they wait next to the maps. After the fifth
and last signal they take the map and start their run. Distance from
pre-start to start– 0 m.
Start area for all competitors is from 15.15.
Walking in the spa park is possible only until 14.00.
Warm-up is possible in the area marked on the warm-up map.
ATTENTION!
Courses of all classes cross a road with medium traffic twice. In those
places control points will force you to stop and cross on the pedestrian
crossing. Those points will be also secured by police.
Time limit: 60 min.
Stage 2 – 23.07.2016
Stage 2 - 23.07.2016 (Saturday) – long distance
map „Galicyjska Kolej Transwersalna”

Terrain description:
Mixed forest wilh good runnability, smalll fragments with poorer
runnability. Map covers northern slopes and foothills of Śnieżnica
mountain. Moderate network of roads, many water elements –
streams, watercourses, marshes - many ravines of different depth.
Competition centre and parking are based by the lower station of the
Śnieżnica ski lift. Start and finish are located 700 m from competition
centre. Approach to start and finish is presented on the below scheme
and will be also marked by ribbons. You will be crossing railroad tracks.
The line is out of use but still, please be carefull
After finishing their course, competitors return to the competition centre
for SI reading.
Approach from pre-start to start – ca. 50 m.
Competition terrain is divided by railroad tracks going east-west. The
line is out of use, apart from retro trains (running on Sunday), but it is
marked on the maps as forbidden to cross.
Crossing is possible in two places.
Classes KM10R, KM10N, KM10 and KM12 cross the railroad tracks at
an obligatory section controled by a referee and marked by ribbons.

All other classes cross the railroad tracks by going under a railway
bridge. There will be control point for all classes located under the
bridge. Competitors punch the control and continue their course on the
other side of the bridge. The place is shown on the below scheme:

Stage 3 – 24.07.2016
Stage 3 - 24.07.2016 (Sunday) – Middle distance (lengthened by 25%)

Terrain description:
Map covers the northern slopes of Krzywoń montain (deep valley and
treeless ridge). It is a terrain with significant climb and poor to very good
runnability, located 510-670m a.s.l.

Average speed in this area for class M21E is ca 9 min/km.
Start and finish of this stage are located to close to each other.
Procedure of handicap start:
Competitors wait in pre-start boxes. The first box is long and will allow
us to order the runners by their start times. In the last box they wait for
the signal from the referee and begin their course.
Approach from pre-start to start– 100 m
Time limit: 120 min.
General information for all stages:
All maps have been updated in spring and summer 201 and were
prepared using the latest technologies: GPS, LIDAR laser scanning,
aerial photography. Maps will be placed in protective foil.
Control descriptions will be on maps.
Additional descriptions will be available on start.
Start of the 1st and 2nd stage interval only.
3rd stage, handicap start (up to 30 minutes loss to the leader after two
stages).
Maps will be laid out from the youngest to the oldest class, women on
the left, men on the right.
Attention!
Parents of kids running in class KM10R – first start on this class is
possible 15 minutes before the rest of the classes.

Ordered meals will be available at the competition centre:
- on Friday at the amphiteatre (13:00-14:30)
- on Saturday in a restaurant in the competition centre
- on Sunday in the competition centre
There will also be a snack bar available at the competition centre
everyday.

During final prize giving ceremony there will be a lottery draw with
prizes for all present competitors.
Competitors in classes KM18+ can win a 2-day stay for two people in
Willa Nałęcz in Zakopane, sponsored by Columbus Energy.
INNE:
1. Current medical check-up is obligatory.
2. During the competition a doctor will be available at the competition
centre.
3. Competitors’ insurance in their own capacity – team leaders
responsible.
4. The organizer provides medical care during the competition.
