In 1998, Benelli delivered five M4s to the Aberdeen
Proving Ground in Maryland. These guns
endured grueling tests for safety,
function and performance,
and exceeded stringent
operational requirements.
The M4 proved to be
totally reliable in every test
situation and was chosen as
the new U.S. Joint Service
Combat shotgun. Benelli’s M4 Tactical is a unique
Auto Regulating Gas Operated (A.R.G.O.) semi-auto
shotgun, upon which the U.S. Marine Corps still
depend today.

M4 A.R.G.O. SYSTEM
The pistons are required to move only ½" for complete
cycling which results in a faster operation with minimum
vibration and quick target acquisition.
INERTIA DRIVEN SYSTEM
ULTRA-RELIABLE, FAST AND SIMPLE.
The Inertia Driven® System was originally developed
for Benelli semi-auto shotguns more than 40 years
ago. Without ever needing adjusting, this system
utilizes the energy from recoil to cycle anything from
light field loads to heavy magnums with consistent
reliability, year after year. There are Benelli shotguns
that have fired over 500,000 rounds that are still
functioning perfectly today. The Inertia Driven®
System is simple with only three primary parts: the
bolt body, the inertia spring and the rotating bolt
head. Because gas, smoke and burnt powder residue
are expelled out of the barrel, rather than being
channeled into the gun’s mechanism, Benelli guns
shoot cleaner than any other shotgun. This allows
them to be much easier to maintain, increasing
reliability. With no springs, action bar linkage, or
heavy gas cylinder under the forend, Benelli semiautos balance perfectly.

M4
WHEN RELIABILITY COUNTS.
When everything is on the line, only the best will do.
The M4, originally developed as the U.S. Joint Service
Combat shotgun in 1998, is a gas-operated semiautomatic 12-gauge shotgun that features Benelli’s
patented self-cleaning, auto-regulating gas operating
system (A.R.G.O.). The M4 metalwork is chromeplated, anodized or coated with heavy phosphate to
prevent rust and corrosion under the most grueling
conditions. The fore-end and pistol grip are constructed
of a tough synthetic polymer material for an absolute
positive grip in wet or dry conditions. The telescoping
aluminum buttstock can be retracted for convenient
portability or storage. The extended magazine will
hold seven 2 3/4 -inch shells or six 3-inch magnum shells.
Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy and can be
accomplished without tools.

VINCI TACTICAL
SIMPLY EFFICIENT.
The Vinci, introduced in 2009,
revolutionized shotgun design
and established Practical Speed
Performance (PSP), a major benefit
for carrying out reliable law
enforcement duties. “Shoulder
the gun, acquire the target, shoot,
recover and shoot again,” is the
essence of how rapidly a gun can fire
accurately and dependably—this is
PSP and there’s no faster performing
shotgun than the Vinci. At the heart
of the Vinci is the In-Line Inertia
Driven® system that is completely
contained within the receiver
enabling it to cycle shells faster than
ever. But to take advantage of this
speed, it was necessary to reduce
recoil and minimize muzzle climb,
which was accomplished when
Benelli developed the ComforTech®
Plus recoil reduction system. Without
adding weight, ComforTech® Plus also
allows the Vinci to retain superior
balance when shouldering and firing
the gun. The Vinci consists of three
modules—the barrel/receiver module,
the trigger group/forend module
and Quadrafit™ Buttstock module—
and its modular design makes it
the easiest shotgun in the world to
assemble and disassemble.

M 3 CONVERTIBLE
TOTAL VERSATILITY.
The M3 is a unique semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun that
is reliable and versatile for any operational or defensive
requirement. The M3 allows officers the option of choosing
either semi-auto or pump-action operation, depending on
the intended purpose. It’s easy to select fast-cycling semiauto fire with conventional loads or you can chose pumpaction for low-energy special purpose loads. Switching
between semi-auto and pump-action is simple—merely
rotate the selector ring at the front of the forend ¼-turn
then push forward to change from pump-action to semiauto or pull back to switch from semi-auto to pump-action
and then release the selector. The M3 comes with ghost
ring sights and night sights are available. The stock is
constructed of a tough synthetic polymer, and is available
with a collapsible telescoping buttstock that can be
adjusted in five positions, while maintaining full function.

SUPERNOVA
SUPERNOVA TACTICAL
ROCK-SOLID PUMP ACTION.
The SuperNova, conceived and designed in 2005,
embodies a modular construction with a lightweight
steel skeletal framework over-molded with a hightech polymer, making this pump-action shotgun
super-light, super-strong and impervious to all
weather conditions. The SuperNova will reliably
fire and cycle a variety of shotshells, including
everything from target loads to 3½ʺ-Magnums.
The SuperNova is available with a choice of three
modular buttstocks and can be quickly reconfigured.
The buttstock options include the Pistol Grip,
ComforTech®, and a telescoping stock, which makes
transport in any type of vehicle easy. An easily
accessible mag-stop button on the forend makes it
possible to extract a cartridge from the SuperNova’s
chamber while leaving the other cartridges in place
in the magazine. This handy feature enables you to
quickly remove a shotshell from the chamber and
re-chamber a different shotshell, all without having to
unload the magazine. Benelli’s Nova and SuperNova
are the only pump-action shotguns available on the
market with this exclusive patented feature.

for Benelli’s Nova, a sturdy, no nonsense 12-ga.
shotgun that provides complete confidence in
its smooth and flawless operation. The Nova
represents an important breakthrough in the
field of pump-action shotguns, thanks to
Benelli’s technological experience and precision
engineering. The one-piece stock and receiver is
injection-molded and made from a high-strength
synthetic polymer material that’s been reinforced
with fiberglass. This makes the Nova completely
impervious to humidity, abrasion, shock and this
rugged gun can even withstand the effects of
solvents and chemical products. Comprised of
a minimum number of parts, the Nova’s manual
operation allows the forend to slide freely along
the barrel for fluid movement and rapid-fire speed.
The Nova will reliably fire and cycle a variety of
shotshells, including everything from target loads
to 3½ʺ-Magnums.
