executing the Daily's Ready To Drink Pouches- Light & Reg In-Store Sampling Program and give the date of execution.
w Verify that there is sufficient product in the store to support this event.
o If there is not enough product to support this demo:
w Ask the manager when he/she expects the shipment to arrive.
w If a shipment is not planned, contact your agency immediately for further instruction.
w Record the date of your call and the name (first and last) of the Department Manager you spoke with on your
PromoReports® Form.

On-Site Demonstration Preparation Checklist (Please Complete All Steps)
c Check in with Customer Service prior to introducing yourself to the Department Manager.
c Introduce yourself to the Department Manager to briefly describe the in-store demonstration. Please ask to set up your table
in a high traffic area near one of the products you are sampling.
c Verify the inventory of the product(s) involved in your project. Follow your agency's policy regarding No Products if
necessary.
c Walk the store thoroughly to see if there is a secondary display of Daily's Cocktails - 4 NEW Daily's Frozen
LIGHT Pouches & 2 New Regular Margarita items - 6 total . If there is, with the approval of the department
manager, please set up your table near this display.

c If applicable, examine appliances to make certain all electrical and extension cords are in good repair and
appliance is clean and sanitized.
c If Extension Cord is in a Customer Traffic area, tape cords to the floor to prevent tripping.

tasting! Featured are 4 items (New Light Margarita & Light Strawberry Margarita & 2 Regular
(Pomegranate Acai Margarita & Margarita) You’re a very important role in introducing all items to Kroger
Shoppers!You'll feature 4 NEW items today as you conduct your 4hr tasting! Offer 1 oz samples only!
You've been chosen to introduce/present the items during the tasting to all interested customers who are
eligible based on required legal age restrictions! As you learned in your certification you're required to
check ID for all shoppers who would like to taste "who may not look of legal age" ONLY! 21 years or
older ONLY can taste the wine you're offering! Follow all Retail Tasting Certification guidelines during
this VERY IMPORTANT event! Prior to event you'll need to review attached Daily's informational manual
& detailed instructions. Please open & review all contents of your demo kit for this event prior to your
in-store engagement tasting. The Tasting Notes for the items are very important for you to familiarize
yourself with. Aggressively intercepting customers w/knowledge & facts about the products will help you
sell the cocktails as you make your presentation to each shopper!
-Precheck your store 2-3 days prior to your confirmed date is required. Please call the store you are
scheduled for & speak w/Wine Consultant on duty. Remind them of the event you're scheduled for & the
date. ALSO ask WC to place 3-4 units of each item in freezer so you can use as samples on day of the
event! Document who spoken to. This is a very important requirement! Make sure you work dates you're
scheduled by your PW coordinator. Dates have been given to Kroger & they're expecting you on this
date! Contact your scheduler ASAP if any issues!
Also note you have a detailed kit as well as several components that should be used during your 4 hr
event.
Upon arrival you will set up your table according to the professional retail tasting trainings you have been
informed of. Use your debit card to buy an item for under $1 (piece of fruit) for a ck in swipe ion arrival.
Make sure you are as close as actually possible to where the cocktails are sold & where your Kroger
wine steward allows/instructs for best customer exposure.
After your event please make sure you complete the PW report form & call in your data to the PW phone
IVR. Make sure you send the report in for payment as usual w/all PW assignments.
Also you will be responsible for leaving your area clean from all items following your event. After your
event continue to keep all contents form the kit you received including all leftovers of napkins etc you
may need these for future events if ever needed. PW must have your completed report form to return to
the client. This is a very important step for our client! CALL your scheduler if any questions!
During this event please follow your retail tastings certification guidelines for this program.
Note: for the cocktails that you open & use during your event, please leave these w/the wine
coordinator/store mgr at the end of your day. No purchase is necessary as these cocktails used for
sampling are to be provided by Kroger for the event! Your wine steward will take care of providing all
items used for tasting during this sampling event.
This is a great program for Daily/PromoWorks & Kroger! We're anxiously awaiting the great results you
can create today at Kroger! All stores will be visited by the client as well as the Kroger team of wine
consultants/managers.

w TODAY you will feature the 4 items: 2 LIGHT & 2 Regular items. The Priority items are the 2 NEW Light
items and the Margarita items IF one of these 4 is not available you can proceed with the other available
items on the list of items as recommended by your Wine Consultant in the store or grocery mgr.
Professional Dress code is required: dark pants, white collared shirt, and black apron
Professional Table is required: black tablecloth, white overlay, serving tray, nametag.
-HOURS - 2-6pm TH or FR or 12noon to 4pm SA
- DATES are given to client and stores in advance. Once selected no changes!
NOTE - the new LIGHT items and the 2 new Bahama Mama and Hurricane items are the ones to sample
(promote all but sample 4 new items but if the LIGHT is not available promote and sample the items WC
prefers and has on hand in the store ready for promoting/sampling.
NOTE - On precheck (2-3 days PRIOR to the day of YOUR scheduled event) the ES must speak with the
store WC on duty to verify the date of their event and advise that the sample product that will be used for
the event (2-3 units of each flavor is ideal) needs to be placed in the freezer so that it will be chilled/frozen
upon arrival and used for the event.
-Upon arrival the ES will take out (from the store freezer/cooler) the chilled frozen sample product so it can
thaw and be used for the event as 1 to 1/2 oz samples.
Please let your coordinator know if any questions and make sure you work the full 4 hour times as required
by the client!
Few reminders for Kroger Wine/Spirits/Cocktails Events:
1) Check in with Kroger Wine Steward upon arrival at the store.
2) Steward and PW ES will oversee "carding" for age requirement specifications. "Card" ONLY those who
look close to the minimum 21 age requirement!
3) PW ES will pour an ounce of cocktail or less.
4) Tasters/Shoppers are not allowed to taste the same alcoholic beverage twice.
5) ES cannot walk away and leave the wine unattended.
6) All remaining portions of the cocktail are to be poured down the drain and the containers put into the
compactor. OR give to the WC - DO NOT LEAVE THE STORE WITH ANY ITEMS! NO open units will leave
Kroger.
7) Kroger provides cocktails/wine used for sampling. FROZEN product should be placed in cooler on
precheck by the WC when you call to alert of your date for their store. USE the items in cooler/freezer for
sampling!
8) Prepare yourself in advance with information on the wines thru tasting notes.
9) All times are required by Kroger - arriving late or leaving early is not acceptable.
10) Work dates as scheduled by your coordinator and confirmed with the wine consultant.
w Serve Hot food hot and Cold food cold. Throw away any samples that sit on the table at room temperature for more than 30
minutes. Keep it fresh and appetizing.
w Make sure customer selects the samples in a way that would not result in contamination of adjacent samples or of single
serve utensils.
w Engage the consumer to purchase the product. Ask the customer if they would like to purchase the product. Know the
product location and price. Listen to the customers.
w DO NOT leave samples, coupons, brochures or equipment, etc. on the event table when you are on your break. A sign is to
be placed on the event table informing customers of the time of your return.
w Make sure the table is kept free of debris.
w Do not store any food on the floor. Make sure it is in a cooler or bag.
Samples should not be handed directly to children under any circumstances. Hand the samples to the parent,
or the responsible adult accompanying the child and let that person give the samples to their child.

w IMPORTANCE OF WASHING HANDS AND CHANGING GLOVES - You must wash your hands thoroughly immediately
before food preparation.

Change your gloves every time you touch other bare human body parts other than clean hands and arms.
Change your gloves and wash your hands every time you use the restroom.
Change your gloves when they rip or tear.
Change your gloves every time you leave the demo table.
Change your gloves if you sneeze or cough.
w Wear a hairnet, hat or other agency approved hair restraint during all food demonstrations (if applicable). (The hair restraint
must cover all hair including ponytails, braids, and bangs thus enabling the forehead and neckline to be seen).
w No eating, drinking, sitting, smoking, reading or chewing gum while conducting a demonstration.
w Demonstrator must be free from illness or disease that may be passed to the public through food handling.
w At no time will food or equipment be left unattended on the demonstration table. Electrical equipment must be removed from
the table, except for microwave ovens, and taken to a holding place out of reach of customers during your break ( if
applicable). Keep knives under the table and out of sight when not in use.
w Do not leave hot appliances or utensils unattended (if applicable).
w Please display your Agency provided "Hot Sign" when applicable.
End of the Day
w Clean up, breakdown your table and leave your area as you found it. Please discard any manuals or POS material in a trash
or recycling (if available and appropriate) receptacle.
w Please do not leave the store with coupons or sample product.
w Take the ending inventory of Daily's Cocktails - 4 NEW Daily's Frozen LIGHT Pouches & 2 New Regular Margarita items
- 6 total and report the result on your PromoReport form.
w Complete your PromoReports® Form and obtain a store stamp and Manager's signature.
w It is mandatory that you enter your results online or call into PromoReports® at (800) 254-4198 upon demo completion. For

freeze these convenient, single serve pouches and enjoy them
out of a glass or directly out of the pouch. Daily’s Frozen Cocktails

How product is sold at retail:
Depending on location, product is sold frozen or unfrozen in single
10oz. units. Suggested Retail is $1.99 check with local store pricing.
How to sample product:
Please make all attempts to sample using pouches that have been frozen. To do this,
You will need to freeze them for an extended period (24 hours ahead of time) and
either bring them in a cooler or store in an icebox at the retail location. Product is
best If enjoyed a few minutes after being taken out of the freezer. Sampler may
want to massage pouch gently before pouring into cups.
