Such conferences were organised by Financial Research Institute of Development Research Centre of the State Council, Financial Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Fujian Development and Reform Commission, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of HKSAR, Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of HKSAR, Hong Kong Productivity Council and other organisations. Mr Tsang was a panellist at the Conference on Capitalising on China's Growth through Hong Kong - China's International Financial Centre held in Korea and Japan in November. Mr Tsang met with around 200 enterprises in each country and shared benefits and procedures associated with listing DR in Hong Kong to attract regional investors. Ms Anita Cheung, General Manager of Strategic Financial Relations (China), offered insights into effective IPO communications and financial PR during the Conference on Listing and Fund Raising in Hong Kong, held in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in late October. Continuing in such efforts, SPRG commenced an exchange programme in 2009 for Hong Kong staff members, allowing them to work at one of the Group’s six overseas offices for about three months. The exchange programme will be organised twice per year. This year, four staff members joined the exchange programme, two were stationed in Taiwan, while one in Beijing and one in Singapore. Though all of the participants possess backgrounds in finance, they were given the chance to expand their expertise to include brand and corporate marketing and CSR communications. Conversely, they shared their corporate financial PR experience with overseas offices and arranged meetings for local offices, bringing in new business referrals. Through the exchange programme, participants also gained a better understanding of local practices. In the coming years, China's renewable energy sector is expected to expand, spurred by favourable government policies. The centre features a 600 sq. m. showroom that can accommodate the company's complete vehicle range, and a 1,800 sq. m. service centre that services 12 cars at one time. To uphold the highest standard of service, the centre’s database is directly linked with the factory in the UK.
