For far too long, City Hall – and its signature courtyard
For far too long, City Hall – and its
signature courtyard, Dilworth Plaza –
had been a dark, barren wasteland filled
with rusty scaffolding and runaway
skateboards. So when Center City
District got ready to introduce its new
$55 million green space, we wanted to
make sure Dilworth Park was given a
proper unveiling.
LevLane’s campaign showcased a park
full of life – children dancing through
fountains, workers picnicking during
lunch – all set to the backdrop of
the magnificent city skyline. Transit
ads, print media, brochures, posters
and banners promoted the park’s
exciting weekly activities, including
the introduction of Rothman Ice
Rink, opening this winter. Downtown
Philadelphia is alive once again, and
Dilworth Park is at the center of it all.
Something’s happening in Philadelphia.
It’s a steady evolution from a city
grounded in history and tradition to
a hip, youthful, bustling metropolis
blossoming with retail opportunity. To
build on this momentum, LevLane’s
campaign included a series of mailers
to national retailers, a website, print
ads and a retail book for Center City
District showcasing some of the eyepopping success stories and statistics
that make Philadelphia impossible
for national retailers to ignore. From
hotel expansion and job creation to a
record number of young professionals
and families living in town, this is an
open invitation to be part of a city
invigorated. Who wouldn’t want to be
in on it?
