Support PFS in the Community PFF ON US Non-profits TOTAL NUMBER OF FREE TICKETS With generous support from the Wyncote Foundation, PFF On Us brought together a diverse mosaic of individuals as part of non-profit organizations, arts and cultural groups, universities, and the general public of Philadelphia to share in the joy of powerful cinema. Universities/Affiliates 12,600 General Public STUDENT SCREENING 957 Students Charter Public Asian The Student Screening program exposes Philadelphia school students to powerful films, connecting them to the filmmakers and providing them the opportunity to respond by sharing their written reviews on the PFS blog. Funding for this program is provided by the Wyncote Foundation and the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit Program. African American White 77% Hispanic Demographics MOVIES ON THE BLOCK Movies on the Block initiative is an accessibility and participation-focused screening program that provides Philadelphia residents the opportunity to engage with relevant programming curated by the Philadelphia Film Society at established community gathering spaces with outreach.
