important information
Thank you for bringing your guests to Salzburg! In terms of energy
consumption and overall emissions, traveling by bus is a more
environmentally conscious form of transport than traveling by private car
or plane. Large numbers of coaches require comprehensive regulations
to avoid traffic congestion, particularly in the historic inner city. The
following information should help you to bring your guests to their
destination quickly and easily.

No parking between 8 am and 6 pm for coaches in the
city of Salzburg except on the bus parking lots Nord (North),
Süd (South) and Hellbrunn or on private bus parking lots at hotels
and restaurants.The no-parking zones must be strictly observed.
We would like to point out that parking violations will be controlled and enforced even more rigorously! The fine for a parking
offense, e.g. in the inner city is € 150.00.
Night parking ban for buses in Austria
Buses are not permitted to park within 25 meters of residential
homes, hospitals, clinics or nursing homes between 10 pm and
6 am.

A parking fee in the amount of _ 38.00 (incl. 20% VAT) will be
charged per 24 hours at the north and south bus parking lots,
starting with the time of driving onto the parking lot and payable at the
automatic payment machine. The ticket entitles you to enter and exit the
facility freely during the 24 hours. Coaches carrying guests staying in the
city overnight will pay a one-time parking fee of _ 38.00 (incl.
20% VAT), regardless of the length of their stay. Appropriate exit tickets
will be issued by the respective hotel. No parking fee will be due if the
bus can be parked on a private parking lot.
Free parking for tourist buses is available at the HELLBRUNN bus
parking lot if your passengers visit the Trick Fountains. The following rates
will apply to buses using Hellbrunn for parking only:
€ 10.00 (incl. 20% VAT) per hour,
€ 50.00 (incl. 20% VAT) maximum fee per day
Bus connections (lines 3 and 8) are available from the SOUTH parking lot
to the city center.
Shuttle Service NORTH (bus drivers only): Weekends in Advent

Passenger boarding and unboarding only (max. 10 minutes).
In the interest of the buses behind yours you are requested to drive your bus
away after passengers disembark and to use the bus bay for BOARDING
and UNBOARDING only, not to wait for passengers. Noncompliance with
the effective regulations will be subject to police fines. The bus may be towed
away!
PROHIBITED ZONE
Prohibited zone/Pedestrian zone (see map).
Please observe the absolute driving ban for all
buses in this zone between 8 am and 6 pm.
Parked buses obstructing the flow of traffic can be clamped,
e.g. when parked at one of the bus terminals. If your bus is
clamped, please report to the nearest police station.
Please switch off the engine while your bus is stopped or parked.
