Neale Eckstein
For over 16 years, Neale Eckstein has recorded singer/songwriters at his Fox Run
Studio in Sudbury, MA. Over the years, he’s recorded and produced CDs for
countless artists including Greg Greenway, Buskin & Batteau, Brother Sun, Annie
Wenz, Bethel Steele, Matt Nakoa and Vance Gilbert.
Also, Neale is known to many people in the folk world as a photographer. He takes
great joy in documenting festivals and music gatherings. His photos are frequently
used for album art, web sites and press. Along the way, Neale began writing his own
songs, often with established songwriters.
“For years the folk world has known Neale Eckstein as the dentist who moonlights as a firstrate photographer, coffeehouse curator, and recording engineer. Now with ‘Click’ we learn he’s
a real musician and songwriter, too. What does he think he is, a Renaissance man or something?”
- John Platt, WFUV, New York City
