3 Wonderful fun-filled days in Missoula
2016 MACOP/MPPA Conference
TRAINING
Chaplain Warren Hiebert of the Gallatin County Sheriff ’s Department will provide a
thought provoking training for the family on Thursday morning at 8 am. Every delegate,
spouse and family member is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Bryan Lockerby, D.C.I. Administrator will present a class on Media Relations for
law enforcement, and Social Media for L.E. Agencies. Two must have classes for all law
enforcement.
Family members don’t miss the training on self-defense and use of force along with the
opportunity to use the Missoula Police Department Shoot-Don’t Shoot simulator. Scheduled for
Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 am.
FBI Agents will provide a review of the events surrounding the take over of the Wildlife
Refuge in Oregon.
FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES
The conference planners have worked tirelessly to make the 2016 Conference a Family affair.
And with the Family as it’s main focus, there are a number of fun filled activities and events for
the family.
SPLASH PARK is one of the finest water parks in Montana, and we have reduced rates for
everyone beginning Tuesday afternoon through Friday. The Park offers 3 stories of water slides
along with a lazy river when you need to take a break.
CANYON RIVER GOLF COURSE is a premier course and we have reduced rates for
the golfer in you family. A small golf tournament for delegate and family will take place on
Wednesday afternoon.
For the adventurous individual or the entire family; WHITE-WATER RAFTING on
Wednesday afternoon. Raft down the Clark Fork or the Blackfoot River and enjoy the beautiful
scenery and the rapids
