I represent the product of your investment in NJIT. The scholarships, resources and opportunities that have been afforded to me have contributed to my personal growth and professional accomplishments. My scholarships are of great importance to me. These monies have provided my family with financial relief and have provided me with the highest quality education! Living on campus has allowed me to be involved in the NJIT community and I have certainly taken advantage of this. I’ve been a Dorman Honors College student ambassador, member of the Biomedical Engineering Society and IDS team leader for SmartGuardian. I’ve served as a Teaching Assistant for the Honors Freshman Seminar, am a member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Currently, I’m a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and work as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Arinzeh’s Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Lab. The resources provided by the University and the Dorman Honors College have been tremendously beneficial. The administrators of the Honors College have acted as personal mentors to me and have continuously demonstrated genuine care and concern about my academic and personal goals. They have provided me with support every step of the way thus far. Thank you to each of the donors for their selflessness and allowing me the opportunity to follow my dreams – which have provided me with the tools to create a legacy of my own.
