ON THE COVER
Dave Davis’s 1947 Chevrolet Street Rod graces the cover
of this month’s Portfolio. Dave’s flaming orange Street
Rod was photographed by Rob Wetzler of Wetzler Studios. During the summer months, you might catch Dave cruising the shady streets of his West Park neighborhood in
this eye-catching beauty, or at a local car show where he
trades tips and insight with other local car aficionados.
Wetzler Studios, located in The QuARTer district, an engaging neighborhood of live-work studios along Superior
Avenue, offers custom commercial photography services.
Rob Wetzler joined the family business in 1996, and brings
a unique perspective and an assortment of varied experiences to
the table. His passion shines in the
areas of portraiture, event coverage
and architectural photography. From
web images to trade show graphics,
Wetzlers creates imagery that speak
to your stakeholders. Give us a call

NOCA Report NOV 2010
Ear to the Ground
At the end of October, NOCA completed
its first-ever survey of members of the
Northeast Ohio marketing communications
industry. The results are being tabulated
even as I write and you read; and should be
ready sometime in November. The results
will be posted to the NOCA website here.
On the Scene
We surveyed nearly 1,000 individuals from
our NOCA distribution list. These individuals represent a thorough cross section of
our industry: advertising, pr, direct marketing, photographers, printers and more.
We were trying to find out what some of
the issues are facing our industry and
how NOCA can help address them. The
results will be a major consideration
when the NOCA Executive Committee
meets soon to develop our strategic plan
for the next 3-5 years.
Item last: If you would like to participate
in future NOCA surveys and/or would like
to be added to our distribution list, visit
the “Contact Us” section of the NOCA
website (onenoca.org).
