NOTES FROM P.R.E.P.
DECEMBER 18, 2013
OUR CHRISTMAS PAGEANT IS TONIGHT
Tonight, Wednesday, December 18, PREP’s Christmas Pageant
begins in church at 6:30 PM. Students will sit with their
class in the reserved pews and must check in with
their catechists. Students who are part of the
Nativity scene need to report to church by 6:00
PM. Please come to the altar server sacristy by way
of the shrine room.
After the pageant everyone is invited over to the
school hall for refreshments. The families who
were called for refreshments can drop them off
at the school hall beginning at 6:00 PM. Please
enter through the alley door near the kitchen. This is the only door that will be
open. We look forward to seeing all our students and their parents at the
pageant.
THERE WILL BE NO PREP CLASSES FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS
The next two weeks, December 25 and January
1, will be Christmas holidays and there will be
no PREP classes. There also will be no PREP
NOTES those two weeks. The next NOTES will
be available the week of January 5, 2014. PREP
classes resume on January 8, 2014. We’ll see
you in the New Year!
CONFIRMATION SERVICE PROJECTS
Help will be needed with the Christmas food
baskets on December 20 and 21. We will be
moving food on Friday from 7:00 – 9:00PM and
assembling the baskets on Saturday from 9:00
AM –1:00 PM. This activity does count as a
service project for Confirmation.
CYO will be going caroling again this year at
D’Youville Manor in Yardley on Friday, December
20. This also can be counted as a service activity
for Confirmation students. This activity is one
that several Confirmation candidates from last year listed as one of their most
memorable activities. All the necessary information follows on the next page.
CONFIRMATION REMINDER
For our Level 6 students, the first Confirmation items
that are due are the Confirmation Information Form
and the Confirmation Preparation Fee of $35.00
which are both due on January 15, 2014.
SNOW AND EMERGENCY CLOSINGS
All emergency closings are listed on our website,
www.holytrinitymorrisville.org on the PREP page
beginning at 3:00 PM on Wednesdays. All those
who have given us an email address will also
have the emergency closing emailed to them.
Anyone who does not have email access needs
to leave their name and phone number at the
office and request a phone call.

Christmas Caroling Night
Friday, December 20th
 Meet in the school hall at 5:15 pm.
 Enjoy cocoa and Christmas cookies.
(Oh, yeah, and practice a little!)
 6:00 Carpool to D’Youville Manor, Yardley and SING for the nice
people who live there and their guests (about 30 minutes).

FOOD PANTRY
The winners of the Food Pantry Award for the week of December 11, 2013 were:

CONGRATULATIONS!!
Since we are not in the classrooms this week we will not have our normal Food
Pantry Award. However, anyone who wishes to bring food for the Christmas food
baskets can bring it when we go over to the social in the school hall and leave the
food on the stage. Our collection will resume on January 8.
JANUARY’S FOOD PANTRY THEME IS NEW YEARS AND

PARENT BOARD MEETING
There is a Parent Board Meeting scheduled for
January 8, 2014. However, if there is no new
business to discuss we will not meet until
February 5. Watch your NOTES on January 8
for a decision.
