New Choir compact disc: ThefifthLoyolachoralcompactdiscwasreleasedonDecember8th.ItfeaturestheentireLoyolachoir inalternationwiththeschoolscholainamedleyofmusicbothsacredandsecularwhichshowcases thequalityofthechoirasanensemble.Atourlastinspection,thesingingatLoyolawasdescribedas “exceptional”andhereisourmostuptodateexample(recordedinJuly2015)ofwhythisisso.Discs canbepurchasedviatheschoolofficeat£10eachtocoverthecostsoftherecording.Mythanksand congratulations to Mrs Brown and Mrs Thomas and also to Mr Gary Tong who masterminded the manufactureofthediscsintimeforChristmas. Parents’Meetingstookplacewithintheschool. MrNicholsonparticipatedinaschoolinspectioninKentforthreedays. PupilsraisedmoneyinaidofgoodcausesonChristmasJumperDay. ClassChristmasPartiesdulytookplaceandFatherChristmastouredtheschoolmuchtothe appreciationofallconcerned. TheresultsoftheChristmasBazaarinNovemberwerereportedbyPTAsecretaryMrsGill Martin:“WewouldliketoletyouallknowthattheFeteandDrawthisyearmaderecord profit.Thefeteclearedaprofitof£3510(15%uponlastyear)andthedraw£2021(up 26%onlastyear).Soourfinalfigurewas£5531up19%totallyonlastChristmas.” Congratulationsandthankstoallconcerned!
