La Chanson Du Retour
A resource pack for teachers and anyone working with children
learning French. Compiled and edited by Claire Tustin and Shelly Ambury
This pack aims to support the learning of French through the story and songs
from the show La Chanson Du Retour. The learning is aimed at children in
lower KS2 but we hope that older and younger children will enjoy and learn
from the pack too.
Each song from the show comes with lyrics, notation and teaching notes in
three sections; tips for singing, cross curricular links (with some links to the
Primary Literacy Framework where appropriate) and links to the KS2 Framework for Languages. We have also included a story board with a simple script
so that classes could put on their own version of the show.
