Can be more than one PC) Q-MagSys PC (PC used to host queue management system. Only one PC per branch) -1- Pre-requisites for Installation 1. Network (LAN) between PCs is ready. 2. Check if the Windows is a 32-bit version. If 64-bit, please contact me. Installation steps for C-MagSys server PC: 1. Install MySQL database - MySqlSetup.exe (if 64 bit, use the 64 bit version) 2. Add port for MySQL 3. Install SQLyog - SQLyog525.exe 4. Import C-MagSys Database - CMagSysBckp.sql 5. Install ODBC for MySQL - MySqlConnectorODBC351.msi 6. Configure the MySQL ODBC 7. Install C-MagSys - CMagSysSetup.exe 8. Configure clinic parameters. 9. Copy TeamViewerQS.exe to desktop Installation steps for C-MagSys client PC: 1. Install ODBC for MySQL - MySqlConnectorODBC351.msi 2. Configure the MySQL ODBC 3. Install C-MagSys - CMagSysSetup.exe 4. Copy TeamViewerQS.exe to desktop Installation steps for Q-MagSys PC: 1. Install ODBC for MySQL - MySqlConnectorODBC351.msi 2. Configure the MySQL ODBC 3. Install QMagSysQMS - QMagSysSetup.exe 4. Copy TeamViewerQS.exe to desktop Additional Installation 1. If PC is attached with MyKad Reader (or just install in all PC, so that the users can use any PC to read the MyKad later). a. Install RockeyOCX.exe – double click the file and follow instructions. b. Install Rockey Windows Driver. Choose the 32 bit or 64 bit driver depending on the Windows version installed. Double click the file and follow instructions. c. This Rockey OCX requires at least .NET 2.0 framework pre-installed. If it is not installed, use dotnetfx.exe to install this framework. Double click the file and follow instructions. d. Note 1: Please install the reader driver first before you connect the MyKad Reader. If any problem, disconnect the MyKad Reader, un-install the driver (use Start > All Program > Rockey200 Driver > Uninstall), reboot the PC, install the driver again and then connect back the MyKad Reader. e. Note 2: This reader is only for MyKad (not for MyKid or any other smart card). IMPORTANT: 1. Please check if the PC is installed with firewall program that sometime require the user to explicitly tell the firewall program to allow access for any application to access the network, etc. 2. Please use user with “ADMINISTRATOR” rights to perform this installation 3. If the doctor request to delete all the existing drug records, login as “admin” into C-MagSys and open “Administration” > “Drugs”. There will be a button “Delete All Drugs” to delete all drug records. Note: Print this page as your checklist during the installation -2- MySQL Installation Note 1: If Windows Vista, please disable the UAC first before performing MySQL installation.
