GUIDED ARTWALK STOPS Follow along the guided tour to hear from featured artists! 1 5:30 PM | #instaballet ArtWalk Highlight! (Oregon Contemporary Theatre, 194 W Broadway) The interactive dance group #instaballet was formed in 2013 by Eugene Ballet Company members Suzanne Haag and Antonio Anacan. Unlike traditional performance, each #instaballet uses a unique brand of interactive dance, relying on audience suggestion to shape the show. They will reveal the choreographed performance at 8pm. Also, view dance photography by Antonio Anacan (left) in the lobby. 2 6 PM | The Jazz Station (124 W Broadway) Tricia Clark-McDowell shows a collection of photography on canvas in her exhibit “Night Vision,” featuring outdoor settings from all over the world. She says, “Night photography has become a kind of meditation for me, and an invitation to look deeper, to find the visible within the seemingly invisible.” The gallery is open until 7pm. Music: Bossa Nova Duo, 5:15- 6:45pm, free; Rob Tobias and the Northwest Express, 8-10:30pm, $10/$7. 3 6:30 PM | Pacific Rim Art Guild (160 E Broadway, basement) The Pacific Rim Art Guild recently had a paint out at a blueberry farm up the McKenzie River. Some artists used their photographic skills, while others painted in oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pastels. The results are displayed in “A Day at the Blueberry Farm.” KESEY SQUARE EVENTS 31 Calango, 5:30-7:30pm Calango dishes up a smorgasbord of irresistible dance music from Brazil.
