It gives the kitchen an opportunity to use Member Report food pantry items that won’t hold up while we are closed. It’s hard to believe that nearly 20 years have gone by, all filled with many wonderful memories and experiences. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Board of Directors for their time and input. They have contributed countless ideas and strategies, and will continue to give assistance when and where it is needed. Many thanks go to the employees, whose hard work and dedication on a daily basis, is second to none. As a reminder, the club will be closed from July 3rd through the 10th, for annual maintenance and repairs. We will reopen on Monday, July 11, for lunch and dinner. Donald L. Sappanos and José E. Santamaria have purchased the real estate and management assets of the Beacon Club as of May 26, 2016. José will serve as the General Manager, the “guy in the bow tie”. Don will be actively involved in setting the future direction of the Club and overall management. You will still see Tom DeGroot from time to time at the Club assisting in the management transition.
