Fat Tuesday will be here before you know it and you know what that means, it’s time for the annual Gumbo
Challenge! This year The B.O.B. will host their Fat Tuesday celebration in partnership with the MSU Gran
Fondo ride against skin cancer happening in June.
In celebration of the MSU Gran Fondo and Fat Tuesday we would like to invite you to compete in the
2015 Fat Tuesday Gumbo Challenge at The B.O.B. on Tuesday, February 17th.
There is no fee to enter the Gumbo Challenge and as a thank you for your participation you’ll receive a $100
Gilmore Collection gift card as well as a portion of the money you earn from selling samples to the public!
Rewards include:

• People’s Choice
7 night stay at the Redstone Inn in Colorado

Important Information
The Basics
• This is a promotional event for the MSU Gran Fondo happening in June of 2015
• It’s open to the public with no cover charge!
• A portion of your gumbo ingredients will be reimbursed
• Guests will buy tickets for 50 cents and exchange them with you for 4 oz samples of your gumbo
• Jurors pick their favorites and the public votes too!
Rules
• Must be 18 years of age or older to enter contest
• Each team is responsible for any needed items not on the provided items list
• Gumbo must be premade and ready to serve by 4:15pm
• Each team is required to prepare 4 gallons of gumbo to ensure everyone can have a taste!
• Someone from your team must be present at the winners announcement at 8pm in Bobarino’s to win
Provided Items
The B.O.B. will provide the following items to each team:
• (1) 8 ft. table
• 2 chairs
• 1 white table linen
• 4oz sample cups, spoons, and napkins for tastings
• Electricity upon request as indicated on your returned registration form prior to event day
Event Day
• Setup begins at 3:00pm at The B.O.B. - Use the loading dock off of Monroe Ave. for load in and out
• The event begins at 4:30pm
• Winners are announced at 8:00pm
• Clean up begins at 8:15pm
