A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
openstreets
Hamilton
Rethink the Street.
Open Streets Hamilton is a communitybased
partnership
dedicated
to
promoting active, healthy, and inclusive
lifestyles by temporarily transforming
streets into a shared space for everyone
to experience.
Open Streets Hamilton: Make the Streets
your Playground!
Dear Community Members,
Welcome to the McMaster Edition of Open
Streets Hamilton! We are so glad you have
chosen to take part in this day and join us in
celebrating our 125th Anniversary and the
82 years that Hamilton has been our home.
This event is a great way for us to celebrate
our place within the Hamilton community and
we are delighted to be partnering with Open
Streets Hamilton and to be inviting members of
the local community onto our campus to explore,
learn and play. I hope you have the opportunity
to experience both of Open Streets Hamilton’s
locations, here at McMaster/Westdale (Sterling
St), and downtown on James St North. Please
take advantage of the resources our campus has to offer, whether it be our facilities, our
beautiful grounds, or the many educational events and lectures, free to the public, that
regularly take place here. We encourage you to make the streets your playground, and
hope you will return again soon.
Sincerely,
Patrick Deane
President and Vice-Chancellor

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
openstreets
Hamilton
Rethink the Street.
Open Streets Hamilton is a communitybased
partnership
dedicated
to
promoting active, healthy, and inclusive
lifestyles by temporarily transforming
streets into a shared space for everyone
to experience.
Open Streets Hamilton: Make the Streets
your Playground!
Dear Community Members,
Welcome to the McMaster Edition of Open
Streets Hamilton! We are so glad you have
chosen to take part in this day and join us in
celebrating our 125th Anniversary and the
82 years that Hamilton has been our home.
This event is a great way for us to celebrate
our place within the Hamilton community and
we are delighted to be partnering with Open
Streets Hamilton and to be inviting members of
the local community onto our campus to explore,
learn and play. I hope you have the opportunity
to experience both of Open Streets Hamilton’s
locations, here at McMaster/Westdale (Sterling
St), and downtown on James St North. Please
take advantage of the resources our campus has to offer, whether it be our facilities, our
beautiful grounds, or the many educational events and lectures, free to the public, that
regularly take place here. We encourage you to make the streets your playground, and
hope you will return again soon.
Sincerely,
Patrick Deane
President and Vice-Chancellor
